✍ Happy Maganniversaire : Double Stamping, Livres et Jardin d'Hiver

Aujourd'hui nous nous retrouvons pour un complot d'anniversaire, et ça fait très très longtemps que je n'en avais pas réalisé !

Here we are today for a birthday plot, and it's been a very very long time since I had not entered in any plot!

C'est donc l'anniversaire de Magali que nous célébrons aujourd'hui, alias a.e.l.i.s. sur Instagram. Et c'est carrément trop cool car je viens juste de la rencontrer, je suis donc hyper contente de participer à son complot d'anniversaire aujourd'hui.

It is therefore Magali's birthday that we are celebrating today, a.k.a. a.e.l.i.s. on Instagram. And it's downright cool because I just met her, so I'm really excited to be a part of her birthday plot today.

Le thème de son complot est : soit une reproduction de l'un de ses nail arts, soit un nail art inspiré d'un livre, soit un beau ciel. Alors moi en ce moment, je ne sais pas ce qu'il m'arrive mais je n'ai pas les yeux en face des trous, car j'ai seulement vu le nail art inspiré d'un livre, et même pas les deux autres xD.

The theme of her plot is either a reproduction of one of her nail arts, either a nail art inspired by a book, or a beautiful sky. So I don't know what's happening to me right now, but I didn't read properly, because I only saw the nail art inspired by a book, and not even the two other ones xD.

Enfin bref, je suis donc allée fouiner sur son profil Instagram, et j'ai vu sur cette photo qu'elle était en train de lire "Jardin d'Hiver" d'Olivier Parquet. Je n'ai pas lu le bouquin mais cela m'a inspiré et je me suis dit que ça ferait un nail art sympa surtout que j'ai déjà fait des nail arts inspirés par des livres ici (j'aime beaucoup celui-là), mais aussi ici (un nail art mignon aussi) ou encore ici, et je voulais changer un peu.

Anyway, I went to snoop on her Instagram's profile, and I saw in this picture that she was actually reading "Jardin d'Hiver" (Winter Garden) by Olivier Parquet. I did not read the book but it inspired me and I thought it would make a nice nail art especially as I have already done nail arts inspired by books here (I love this one), right here (a cute one too), and over here, and I wanted to change a bit.

En base, j'ai posé deux couches de mon bleu nuit préféré "Star Of Bombay" d'Orly. Par-dessus, j'ai posé deux couches d'un de mes premiers vernis indie et également l'un de mes favoris : "Tibetan Nights" de Cirque Colors.

A a base, I put two layers of my favorite night blue nail polish "Star Of Bombay" from Orly. Over it, I laid two coats of one of my first indie nail varnishes and also one of my favorites: "Tibetan Nights" from Cirque Colors.

Ce qui est cool, c'est que la base de mon nail art elle-même peut faire office de ciel étoilé, on est donc doublement dans le thème. J'ai ensuite réalisé un double stamping.

What is cool is that the base of my nail art itself can be a starry sky too, so we are doubly in the theme. I then made a double stamping.

Pour les motifs "écritures", j'ai utilisé la plaque de stamping "Literature 01" de chez Mo You offerte par ma copine Adilys2 (Marie pour les intimes). Pour les motifs "fleurs", j'ai utilisé la plaque "Pueen 80" de Pueen donc, venant du set Buffet Leisure.

For the "writings" patterns, I used the stamping plate "Literature 01" from Mo You gifted to me by my friend Adilys2 (Marie for friends). For the "flower" patterns, I used Pueen's "Pueen 80" stamping plate, from the Buffet Leisure set.

Pour les vernis de stamping, j'ai utilisé "Porcelain II" de Sèche pour le blanc, et "Angel Kiss" de Color Club pour le holo. J'ai alterné les vernis pour stamper les motifs, tantôt les écritures en blanc, tantôt en holo et vice versa. For the stamping nail lacquers, I used "Porcelain II" from Sèche for the white, and "Angel Kiss" from Color Club for the holo. I alternated the two nail polishes to stamp the patterns, sometimes the writings in white, sometimes in holo and vice versa. Aujourd'hui, c'est avec grand plaisir que je vous montre ma première participation au "Stamping Master". Le thème d'aujourd'hui est : "Jungle et/ou Mint & Rose", le thème mensuel général est les fleurs.

Le Stamping Master est un rendez-vous hebdomadaire ayant lieu tous les mercredi pour toutes les passionnées de nail art autour d'un thème donné.

The Stamping Master is a weekly appointment held every Wednesday for all the passionates of nail art around a given theme.

Cela faisait un moment que je voyais les posts défiler notamment sur Instagram, et comme j'adore le stamping, j'avais envie de participer !!!

It has been a while since I saw the posts scrolling especially on Instagram, and as I love stamping, I absolutely wanted to participate !!!

Et je tente enfin aujourd'hui car j'ai particulièrement aimé le thème. J'adore le mint et le rose, et je trouvais que c'étaient des couleurs idéales pour faire un stamping tropical !!

And I finally tried today because I particularly liked the theme. I love mint and pink, and I thought they were ideal colors for a tropical stamping !!

En ce moment chez moi il grêle et j'ai même eu le droit à quelques flocons de neige hier... Du coup, j'essaie de faire venir le soleil de la manière que je peux. Après mon nail art ananas de dimanche, voici donc un nail art tropical aujourd'hui !!

Right now at my place, there is some hail it and I even saw a few snowflakes yesterday... So, I try to bring the sun the way I can. After my Pineapple nail art on Sunday, here is a tropical nail art today !!

En base, j'ai donc posé le très joli et tout doux vernis mint "A Little Fishy Told Me" d'Enchanted Polish. Ensuite, j'ai réalisé un double stamping par dessus.

As a base, I asked the lovely and soft mint nail polish "A Little Fishy Told Me" from Enchanted Polish. Then I realized a double stamping above.

Pour cela, j'ai utilisé la plaque de stamping aux feuilles de palmiers 01 de la marque française Topa Topa. J'ai d'abord stampé en blanc, puis avec le vernis rose néon "On The List" de Pipe Dream Polish.

To do so, I used the palm leaves stamping plate 01 from the French brand Topa Topa. I first stamped in whit, then with the pink neon nail lacquer "On The List" from Pipe Dream Polish.

Et voilà le résultat !!! J'espère que ma première participation au "Stamping Master" te plaît ? J'espère avoir l'occasion de participer plus fréquemment dorénavant!!

❄ Nail Art Hiver Enchanté

l'hiver approchant bientôt, je vous ai concocté un petit nail art spécialement pour l'occasion. Il s'agit d'un nail art que j'ai réalisé pour un nail art à thème à réaliser.

winter is coming soon, I did a small nail art especially for the occasion. This is a nail art I made for a themed nail art that I had to achieve. 

Le thème est : "Un Nail Art Enchanté". J'ai fait quelque chose de très simple, mais j'adore les flocons de neiges, je trouve ça tellement joli !!

The theme is "An Enchanted Nail Art". I did something very simple, but I love snowflakes, I find them so lovely !! 

 
J'ai commencé par poser le joli vernis "Christmas In Paradise" de Glittering Elements issu de la "What's In-die Box" de décembre 2014 sur le thème d'un Noël Australien, dont tu peux voir ou revoir la revue par ici.

I started by asking the pretty nail polish "Christmas In Paradise" from Glittering Elements coming from the "What's In-die Box" of December 2014 on the theme of an Aussie Christmas, of which you can see or review the post over here. 

Je n'avais pas encore eu l'occasion de poser ce vernis seul, et je dois dire que j'ai été agréablement surprise ! C'est un joli bleu turquoise holographique aux reflets légèrement métallisés, par contre il n'est pas du tout opaque, j'ai du en poser 4 couches !

I had not yet had the opportunity to ask this nail lacquer on its own, and I must say I was pleasantly surprised ! This is a nice holographic turquoise with slightly metallic reflections, by cons it is not at all opaque, I had to ask 4 layers !

J'ai ensuite réalisé un double stamping avec une très jolie plaque venant de chez Born Pretty Store. Il s'agit de la plaque QA58 qui est composée de motifs de flocons de neige individuels, ce qui permet de realiser ce que l'on veut comme nail art.

I then did a double stamping with a lovely plaque from Born Pretty Store. This is the QA58 plate which is made of patterns of individual snowflakes, allowing to realize what we want as nail art.

Pour ajouter un peu de magie, j'ai utilisé le top coat aux particules scatter holographiques : "Holiday" de Picture Polish. Le résultat est un peu fondu sur les photos, mais en vrai c'était vraiment très joli.

To add a little bit of magic, I used the scatter holographic top coat "Holiday" from Picture Polish. The result is slightly melted in the pictures, but in real life it was really pretty. 

J'ai de nouveau utilisé mon tampon de Praline & Cie, que je trouve beaucoup plus pratique grâce à sa tête rose, notamment pour le reverse stamping !! Tu peux retrouver le tampon ou une tête de la couleur de ton choix par ici. ઈ Nailstorming Assorti à Ma Déco

Je me tiens à mon engagement pour le nailstorming, et voici un nail art assorti à ma déco !! Comme Mademoiselle Emma j'étais super emballé par le thème !! Je pensais avoir pleins d'idées et puis au final, pas trop d'inspiration...

I stand my commitment to the nailstorming, and here is a nail art matching my interior design !! Like Mademoiselle Emma I was super excited about the theme !! I thought I would be full of ideas, but then in the end, I was not so much inspired...
 

Je suis un peu dans les cartons, alors j'ai pas trop ma déco à disposition, du coup, j'ai bien failli sécher ! Mais, je me suis tout de même résolue à participer.

I am a bit into moving boxes, so I don't really have my decorarion at my disposal, so, I almost skipped ! But I was still determined to participate.

Si tu me suis régulièrement, tu sauras que j'adore l'Inde et que je fais souvent des nail arts d'inspiration indienne. Et je viens tout juste de recevoir la jolie plaque de stamping Fashionista  - 11 de Moyou alors j'ai eu envie de l'utiliser.

If you follow me on a regular basis, you will know that I do love India and I often do Indian inspired nail arts. And I have just received the beautiful Fashionista - 11 stamping plate  from Moyou so I felt like using it.

À savoir, que c'est un motif Paisley, qui est d'origine iranienne. Cela dit, les Perses ayant pendant un temps conquis l'inde, on y retrouve beaucoup ce motif notamment dans les tissus.

To be specific, it is a Paisley pattern, which is of Iranian origin. That being said, the Persians had conquered India for a time, so we find there this pattern a lot especially in tissues.

J'ai commencé par utiliser une couleur chaude en base : le corail holographique "Luminous Owl" de Cirque. Il est opaque en deux à trois fines couches.

I started by using a warm color as a base : the holographic coral "Luminous Owl" from Cirque. It is opaque in two to three thin coats.
 

J'ai ensuite stampé. J'ai commencé par du rouge en utilisant "By Simone" un sublime rouge de The Beautyst. Puis j'ai voulu faire un double stamping avec le bronze "Penny Talk" d'Essie.

Then, I stamped. I've started by using "By Simone" a gorgeous red from The Beautyst. Then, I wanted to make a double stamping with thr bronze "Penny Talk" from Essie.
 

Comme je trouvais que cela manquait de profondeur, j'ai de nouveau stampé !! J'ai donc réalisé un triple stamping en utilisant "Lady Godiva" d'Essie. De plus ce nail art est idéal, car je dois me rendre à l'Ambassade de l'Inde demain !!

I found it was lacking a bit of depth, so I stamped again !! Therefore I did a triple stamping using "Lady Godiva" from Essie. Also this nail art is ideal because I have to go to the Indian Embassy tomorrow !!
 

☀ Voilà l'Été // Nailstorming

Me voilà pour un nailstorming aujourd'hui, et cette semaine le thème est : "Voilà l'Été". Encore une fois j'ai séché quelques nailstormings, mais je suis de retour.

Here I am today for the nailstorming  and this week's theme is : "Summer is here". Again I missed some nailstormings, but I'm back.

Alors que je participais quasiment systématiquement auparavant, j'ai décidé de ne faire désormais que les thèmes qui me plaisent, ou que je trouve fun et/ou originaux à réaliser.

As I attended almost systematically before, I've decided not to now, only if I like or I find the themes fun and / or original to achieve.

Bref, cette semaine on célèbre l'été ! Après mon ode à cette saison la semaine passée avec la présentation des vernis néons Pipe Dream Polish, voici un nail art estival.

Anyway, this week we celebrate summer ! After my ode to the season last week with the presentation of Pipe Dream Polish neon nail polishes, here is a summery nail art.

J'ai réalisé un nail art plein de chaleur, en mode "Les dessous de Palm Beach" ou "Deux Flics à Miami", c'est comme tu préfères ? On peut aussi varier les plaisir avec "Sunset Beach" ou "Summerland" on a vraiment l'embarras du choix !

I made a nail art plenty of heat, like "Silk Stalkings" or "Miami Vice" as you prefer ? The fun can also vary with "Sunset Beach" or "Summerland", we really have plenty to choose from !

Pour ce nail art caliente, j'ai réalisé un gradient avec deux très beaux vernis holographiques de la collection "Hairspray" de la marque indie Glam Polish.

For this caliente nail art, I realized a gradient with two very beautiful holographic nail polishes of the "Hairspray" collection from the indie brand Glam Polish.

Le rose "Hey Mama" + le corail "New Girl In Town" = effet coucher de soleil garanti. Après ce dégradé, j'ai décidé d'utilisé une technique que j'affectionne particulièrement : le double stamping.

The pink "Hey Mama" + the coral "New Girl In Town" = sunset effect guaranteed. After the gradient, I decided to use a technique that I really like : the double stamping.

Pour cela, j'ai utilisé ma jolie plaque de stamping TP01 de la marque française Topa Topa. J'ai tout d'abord stampé le motif "feuilles de palmier" avec le doré métallisé "Good As Gold" d'Essie.

To do so, I used my pretty TP01 stamping plate from the French brand Topa Topa. First, I stamped the "palm leaves" pattern with the gold metallic "Good As Gold" by Essie.

Puis deux motifs différents de palmiers avec le noir "Licorice" toujours d'Essie. Ces trois motifs se trouvent sur la même plaque, et sont vraiment idéaux pour célébrer l'été ! C'est ma saison préférée puisque je suis de juillet ;-) Bisous ensoleillés !

Then two various patterns of palm trees with the black "Licorice" still from Essie. These three patterns are on the same plate, and are really ideal to celebrate summer ! It's my favorite season since I was born in July ;-) Sunny Kisses !

✿ Spring // Nailstorming

Aujourd'hui c'est dimanche, et c'est donc le jour du traditionnel nailstorming. Cette semaine le thème est "Spring !"

Today, it is Sunday, so it's the day of the traditional nailstorming. This week's theme is "Spring !"

J'ai décidé de réalisé un nail art fleuri pour l'occasion. Un nail art dans le style British Kitsch, un peu comme les célèbres imprimés de Cath Kidston.

I have decided to do a floral nail art for the occasion. A British Kitsch style nail art, kind of like the popular prints by Cath Kidston.

J'avais déjà réalisé un nail art fleuri en utilisant la même technique l'année dernière. Et c'était d'ailleurs l'un de mes nail arts favori de l'année 2014.

I had already done a floral nail art using the same technique last year. And it was in fact one of my favorite nail arts of 2014.

Quand j'ai vu le thème, j'ai eu l'idée de réaliser ce type de nail art un peu à l'ancienne. Pour la couleur de base, j'ai choisi mon mint préféré : "Fashion Playground" d'Essie, opaque en trois couches.

When I saw the theme, I had the idea to create this kind of nail art a bit vintage. For the base color, I chose my favorite mint nail polish : "Fashion Playground" by Essie, opaque in three layers.

Ensuite, j'ai réalisé un double stamping. Depuis le temps que je voulais utiliser cette technique mais je n'y pense jamais ! Et bien voilà, qui est fait !

Then I did a double stamping. Since the time I wanted to do this technique, but I always forget about it ! Well now, it's done !

J'ai utilisé des motifs des plaques de stamping "Paroles 1" et "Paroles 2 de Praline et Cie. Tu peux d'ailleurs bénéficier de 50 pralines offertes lors de ton inscription sur la boutique avec le code DIAMANT_SUR_LONGLE50.

J'ai tout d'abord stampé les mots avec le motif de la plaque "Paroles 1", et le vernis "620 - Lavender" de Kiko. Puis, des motifs fleuris en utilisant les deux plaques, et le vernis "Stamp Me ! White" d'Essence.

First of all, i stamped the words with a pattern of the plate "Paroles 1", and the nail varnish "620 - Lavender"  by Kiko. Then, some floral patterns using the two plates and the nail lacquer  "Stamp Me ! White" from Essence.

Ensuite, j'ai réalisé des ronds à l’acrylique blanche dans quelques coins. Puis, j'ai peint les fleurs toujours à l’acrylique. J'ai ensuite fait des petits points autour de mes quart de cercle à la peinture, et j'ai top coaté le tout.

Then I made rounds with white acrylic paint in some corners. Then I painted the flowers still with the acrylic. Then I did small dots around my quarter circles, and I top coated everything.

Et je dois dire, que je suis assez fan du résultat, j'aime beaucoup ce style un peu victorien. C'est un peu les ongles que t'as envie d'avoir en lisant Jane Austen, et en buvant un bon thé !

And I must say that I am quite a fan of the outcome, I love this somewhat Victorian style. It's kind of the nails you want to wear while reading Jane Austen, and drinking a good cup of tea !
