♨ Chinchilly d'Essie

Coucou les filles,
Aujourd'hui je voulais présenter l'un des vernis indispensables de ma vernithèque et l'un de mes essie préféré : "Chinchilly".

Hi Girls,
Today I wanted to show you one of my must-have nail polishes from my stash and one of my favorite essie : "Chinchilly".

"Chinchilly" fait partie de mes indispensables chez essie avec "Blanc", le noir "Licorice", et le marron "Lady Godiva", des couleurs simples et classiques, mais si je ne devais garder que 4 vernis essie, ce serait sans aucun doute ceux-là.

"Chinchilly" is one of my essentials from essie with "Blanc", the black "Licorice", and the brown "Lady Godiva", simple and classic colors, but if I had to keep only 4 essie nail varnishes, it would be without any doubt these ones.

"Chinchilly" a une teinte assez difficile à définir : il est à la fois beige, nude, marron, un peu gris, je le qualifierais de marron glacé.

"Chinchilly" has a tint rather difficult to define: it is at the same time beige, nude, brown, a bit gray, I would call it chestnut brown.

Il n'a en soi rien d'extraordinaire et peut sembler vraiment sobre, mais justement je trouve que c'est une couleur passe-partout, idéale en toutes circonstances. C'est le vernis que que porte habituellement lorsque j'ai un entretien.

It has in itself nothing extraordinary and can seem really sober, but precisely I think it's a passe partout color, ideal in all circumstances. It's the nail lacquer that I usually wear when I have an interview.

D'une manière générale, j'adore les vernis crèmes d'essie, ce sont toujours des valeurs sûres. Ils sont idéaux posés seuls ou pour un nail art. "Chinchilly" est très agréable à appliquer et est opaque en 2 à 3 couches.

In general, I really love cream essie nail lacquers, they are always a good choice. They are ideal posed alone or for a nail art. "Chinchilly" is very pleasant to apply and is opaque in 2 to 3 layers.

❧ Autumn by Enchanted Polish

ça y est nous sommes déjà au mois de décembre !! J'arrive pas à croire que c'est bientôt Noël et que 2015 est déjà presque finie :O

That's it we are already in December !! I can not believe it's nearly Christmas and that 2015 is already almost over :O 

Toujours est-il qu'il nous reste encore un mois à passer ensemble, et qu'il nous reste quelques jours d'automne avant d'affronter le froid hivernal !

Fact remains we still have one month to spend together, and we have a few autumn days left before facing the cold winter ! 

C'est pourquoi, j'ai décidé qu'il était temps de te montrer "Autumn" d'Enchanted Polish. "Autumn" est un vernis sorti par la marque en automne 2013 en même temps que "Vampires Suck" et "To Die For".

Therefore, I decided it was the perfect time to show you "Autumn" from Enchanted Polish. "Autumn" is a nail varnish released by the brand in autumn 2013 along with "Vampires Suck" and "To Die For". 

Ces vernis ont été réédités 2 fois, et pour la dernière fois cette année avec la collection d'Halloween 2015. Personnellement, je me les suis procurés l'année dernière.

These nail lacquers have been sold 3 times, and for the last time this year with the collection of Halloween 2015. I personally bought them last year. 

L'année dernière je t'avais montré le sublime "Vampires Suck" qui est de loin mon favori des trois. "Autumn" est son cousin éloigné, il est très joli mais mal aimé des NPA.

Last year I showed you the sublime "Vampires Suck" which is by far my favorite of the three. "Autumn" is its distant relative, it is very pretty but for some reason unloved by the NPA.

"Autumn" est un multichrome. C'est vrai qu'ici je te le montre sous son plus bel atour, mais à la lumière du jour il est très différent et je n'ai pas réussi à capter cette nuance.

"Autumn" is a multichrome. It is true that here I am showing it to you under its most beautiful way, but in daylight is really different and I have not managed to capture that shade. 

Sous la lumière artificielle comme tu peux le voir ici, c'est un brun assez doux, avec de jolis reflets vieux roses et dorés. Mais à la lumière du jour, c'est selon moi un bronze // doré // olive // moutarde.

Under artificial light as you can see here, this is a pretty sweet brown, with pretty old pink and gold highlights. But in my opinion, in the light of day, it's a bronze // brown // olive // mustard.

Personnellement, je n'arrive pas à me décider si je l'aime ou pas. Autant je l'adore à la lumière artificielle, autant je suis plus mitigée à la lumière du jour...

Personally, I cannot make up my mind whether I like it or not. As much as I love it in artificial light, as far I'm more mixed up in the light of day...

Quoiqu'il arrive, je me demande pourquoi, c'est la seule saison créée par Chelsea, et j'aimerai bien voir apparaître les autres saisons moi !

Anyhow, I wonder why this is the only season created by Chelsea, and I would really love to see some other seasons ! 

〣Tous en Forêt // Nailstorming

Comme tous les dimanches, on se retrouve aujourd'hui pour le nailstorming. Et cette semaine, le thème est "Tous en Forêt".

Hello girls,
Like every Sunday, we meet today for the nailstorming. And this week, the theme is "Let's Go Into The Woods". 

Il y avait déjà eu un nailstorming au thème un peu similaire il y à un moment, le thème était : "Bois, Arbre et Forêt". Tu peux revoir ce nail art par ici.

There had already been a somewhat similar theme for a nailstorming a while ago, the theme was : "Wood, Tree and Forest". You can review this nail art over here.

À l'époque, j'avais voulu me faire des "ongles en bois", mais j'étais dégoûtée car je n'avais pas de motif de stamping adéquat. J'avais donc bricolé un système qui me permettait de réaliser quand même mon nail art.

At the time, I wanted to do "wooden nails", but I was pissed because I had no adequate stamping pattern. So I managed a system which allowed me to still achieve my nail art.

Depuis, j'ai pu me procurer une plaque de stamping avec un motif "Bois", du coup, je me suis dit que ce serait l'occasion parfaite de l'utiliser et d'enfin pouvoir réaliser ce nail art comme je le voulais.

I have since been able to get a stamping plate with a "Wood" pattern, so, I thought that it would be the perfect opportunity to use it and to finally realize this nail art as I wanted.

J'ai tout d'abord posé en base trois couche de mon brun // gris // taupe préféré : "Chinchilly" d'Essie. Puis j'ai donc utilisé ma plaque "Pro Collection - 03" de MoYou pour le motif "Bois".

I first asked three layer of my beloved brown // gray // taupe : "Chinchilly" from Essie. Then, I used my stamping plate "Pro Collection - 03" from Moyou for the "Wood" pattern.

Chez moi la luminosité est vraiment pourrie, et quand j'ai choisis mon vernis pour stamper, je n'ai pas vu que je m'était trompé. J'ai pris le noir "Licorice" au lieu du marron "Lady Godiva".

At home the brightness is really rotten, and when I choose my stamping nail polish, I did not see that I was mistaken. I took the black "Licorice" instead of the brown "Lady Godiva". 

Et je ne m'en suis rendue compte qu'après avoir fait 4 doigts, oui, oui, la luminosité est vraiment horrible. J'ai donc du recommencer mon stamping pour enfin utiliser mon marron chouchou "Lady Godiva", toujours d'Essie donc.

And I realized it only after I made four fingers, yes, yes, the brightness is really horrible. So I had to start my stamping again to finally use my darling brown "Lady Godiva", still from Essie. 

C'est pour ça que mon stamping est un peu bizarre à certains endroits. Finalement, je suis un peu déçue par ce nail art et je préfère nettement la première version !!

That's why my stamping is a bit odd in some places. Finally, I am a bit disappointed by this nail art and I much prefer the first version !!

♘ Journée Mondiale Des Animaux // Nailstorming

Aujourd'hui c'est dimanche, c'est donc le jour du nailstorming, mais comme c'est également la Journée Mondiale des Animaux, c'est le thème de cette semaine.

Today is Sunday, so this is the day of nailstorming but as it is also the Animals World Day, it is the theme of this week.

Je n'avais pas trop envie de faire un nail art sur les animaux domestiques. J'ai déjà fait plusieurs fois un nail art "Chat", un que j'aime bien par ici, un autre plutôt sympa ici, et un dont je ne suis pas particulièrement satisfaite par ici.

I was not too keen to do a nail art about pets. I already did several times a nail art "Cat", one that I like here, another one quite nice here, and one that I'm not particularly happy with here.

J'ai déjà aussi fait un nail art "Tigre" que j'avais plutôt bien aimé, et sûrement encore d'autres que j'oublie. J'avais commandé des studs "Éléphant" sur Banggood.com et je me suis dit que ce serait l'occasion parfaite pour les poser.


I've also done a "Tiger" nail art that I quite enjoyed, and surely still many others that I forgot about. I ordered some "Elephant" studs on Banggood.com and I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to use them.

D'ailleurs petite anecdote à propos de ces studs éléphants, en fait ce ne sont pas du tout des éléphants. En allant sur le site pour écrire mon article, je me suis rendue compte que ce sont apparemment...

Besides fun fact about these elephants studs, actually these are not at all elephants. By going on the site to write my post, I realized that these are apparently ...

...des cochons. Je ne sais donc pas trop si mon nail art d'aujourd'hui est dédié aux éléphants ou aux cochons. Mais avoue qu'ils ont un groin vachement bizarre quand même !! Mais bon, moi je crois aux éléphants roses alors on va faire comme si !

... pigs. So I don't know too if my nail art today is dedicated to elephants or pigs. But admit they have a really odd snout though !! Anyway, I believe in pink elephants so we'll pretend these are elephants !

Comme tu peux le constater ces studs ne sont pas vraiment des plus discrets. Du coup, je n'avais pas envie de faire un nail art trop chargé pour que le résultat soit joli. Et puis, cela faisant longtemps que je n'avais pas fait de watermarble.

As you can see these studs are not really subtle. So, I did not feel like doing a nail art too heavy for the outcome to be pretty. And then, it has been a long time since I did a watermarble.

J'ai choisi des couleurs assez neutres et similaires aux couleurs du stud, mais je voulais tout de même du holo ! J'ai donc choisi : le rose "55" de Dance Legend, le doré "Subterfuge" de Chaos & Crocodiles", et le brun multichrome "Autumn" d'Enchanted Polish, et voilà !

I chose fairly neutral colors and close to the colors of the stud, but I still wanted some holo ! So I chose : the pink "55" from Dance Legend, the golden "Subterfuge" from Chaos & Crocodiles ", and the brown multichrome "Autumn" from Enchanted Polish, and voilà !

♔ Nail Art Tout Simple Pour GOT Exhibit !

Il y à environ une dizaine de jours, j'ai eu l'occasion de me rendre à l'exposition "Game Of Thrones Exhibit" qui a eu lieu à Paris, et tu te doutes bien que je me devais de faire quelque chose spécialement pour ce jour-là.

About ten days ago, I had the opportunity to visit the "Game Of Thrones Exhibit" held in Paris, and as you can imagine, I had to do something special for that day.

J'ai commandé il y à quelques temps des nails decals "Game Of Thrones", mais ne les ayant toujours pas reçus, j'ai du faire autre chose. 

A while ago, I ordered some "Game Of Thrones" nails decals, but as I still haven't received them yet, I had to do something else.

Cela dit, comme j'ai la "What's In-die Box" dédiée aux livres et à la série dans ma vernithèque, j'ai décidé d'utiliser certains de ces vernis. Le plus difficile fût de choisir lesquels.

That said, as I own the "What's In die-Box" dedicated to the books and the show in my stash, I've decided to use some of these nail polishes. The hardest part was choosing which ones. 

Finalement, j'ai décidé de faire quelque chose de plutôt simple, féminin et aux couleurs de l'automne. On était encore en été, mais la météo laissait supposer le contraire.

Eventually I decided to do something fairly simple, feminine and matching fall colors. It was still summer, but the weather implied otherwise.

J'ai donc choisi d'associer deux vernis de la "What's In-die Box" Game Of thrones : le brun "Highgardens" de Femme Fatale Cosmetics, et le doré "I'm No Lady" de Grace-full.

So I chose to combine two nail lacquers from the Game of thrones "What's In die-Box" : the brown "Highgardens" from Femme Fatale Cosmetics, and the golden one "I'm No Lady" from Grace-full.

Margaery Tyrell et Brienne de Torth sont deux personnages que j'aime assez, et je trouvais ça sympa de les associer dans un nail art. Elles sont vraiment opposées, mais ce sont tout de même deux personnages féminins plutôt badass, chacune à sa façon.

Margaery Tyrell and Brienne of Torth are two characters that I quite like, and I thought it would be nice to combine them in a nail art. They are truly opposed, but they are still two rather badass female characters, each one in her own way.

"Highgarden" est un multichrome brun // prune au shift vert mordoré, et aux paillettes multicolores. Quand à "I'm No Lady', il s'agit d'un vernis sable // doré ultra pailleté, contenant des paillettes holos.

"Highgarden" is a multichrome brown // plum with a green to bronze shift, and some multicolored glitters. As for "I'm No Lady", it is a sand // golden nail varnish ultra glittery, and containing holos glitters.
 

J'ai tout simplement décidé de poser "Highgarden" sur tous les doigts, à l'exception de l'annulaire sur lequel, j'ai posé "I'm No Lady" en accent nail. C'est hyper simple, mais j'aime assez le résultat.

I've just decided to put "Highgarden" on all of my fingers except the ring finger on which I put "I'm No Lady" as an accent nail. It's really simple, but I kind of like the outcome.

ઈ Nailstorming Assorti à Ma Déco

Je me tiens à mon engagement pour le nailstorming, et voici un nail art assorti à ma déco !! Comme Mademoiselle Emma j'étais super emballé par le thème !! Je pensais avoir pleins d'idées et puis au final, pas trop d'inspiration...

I stand my commitment to the nailstorming, and here is a nail art matching my interior design !! Like Mademoiselle Emma I was super excited about the theme !! I thought I would be full of ideas, but then in the end, I was not so much inspired...
 

Je suis un peu dans les cartons, alors j'ai pas trop ma déco à disposition, du coup, j'ai bien failli sécher ! Mais, je me suis tout de même résolue à participer.

I am a bit into moving boxes, so I don't really have my decorarion at my disposal, so, I almost skipped ! But I was still determined to participate.

Si tu me suis régulièrement, tu sauras que j'adore l'Inde et que je fais souvent des nail arts d'inspiration indienne. Et je viens tout juste de recevoir la jolie plaque de stamping Fashionista  - 11 de Moyou alors j'ai eu envie de l'utiliser.

If you follow me on a regular basis, you will know that I do love India and I often do Indian inspired nail arts. And I have just received the beautiful Fashionista - 11 stamping plate  from Moyou so I felt like using it.

À savoir, que c'est un motif Paisley, qui est d'origine iranienne. Cela dit, les Perses ayant pendant un temps conquis l'inde, on y retrouve beaucoup ce motif notamment dans les tissus.

To be specific, it is a Paisley pattern, which is of Iranian origin. That being said, the Persians had conquered India for a time, so we find there this pattern a lot especially in tissues.

J'ai commencé par utiliser une couleur chaude en base : le corail holographique "Luminous Owl" de Cirque. Il est opaque en deux à trois fines couches.

I started by using a warm color as a base : the holographic coral "Luminous Owl" from Cirque. It is opaque in two to three thin coats.
 

J'ai ensuite stampé. J'ai commencé par du rouge en utilisant "By Simone" un sublime rouge de The Beautyst. Puis j'ai voulu faire un double stamping avec le bronze "Penny Talk" d'Essie.

Then, I stamped. I've started by using "By Simone" a gorgeous red from The Beautyst. Then, I wanted to make a double stamping with thr bronze "Penny Talk" from Essie.
 

Comme je trouvais que cela manquait de profondeur, j'ai de nouveau stampé !! J'ai donc réalisé un triple stamping en utilisant "Lady Godiva" d'Essie. De plus ce nail art est idéal, car je dois me rendre à l'Ambassade de l'Inde demain !!

I found it was lacking a bit of depth, so I stamped again !! Therefore I did a triple stamping using "Lady Godiva" from Essie. Also this nail art is ideal because I have to go to the Indian Embassy tomorrow !!
