⚔ Nailstorming Série TV : Game Of Thrones

Aujourd'hui on se retrouve pour notre rendez-vous hebdomadaire : le nailstorming. Cette semaine le thème est série télé, et j'ai choisi "Game Of Thrones".

Hi girls,
Today we meet for our weekly appointment : the nailstorming. This week the theme is TV shows, and I chose "Game Of Thrones". 

Bon il faut savoir que je n'ai pas la télé, mais que je suis une ACCRO aux séries télévisées, j'en regarde plus d'une centaine je crois bien.

Well you should know that I do not have TV, but I am ADDICTED to television shows, I look more than a hundred I believe.

J'ai d'ailleurs déjà réalisé des nail arts pour les séries suivantes "Star Crossed", "The Librarians" et "Outlander", que tu peux revoir en cliquant sur les liens correspondant.

Bien-sûr avec le retour imminent de "Game Of Thrones", c'est cette fois sur la série culte que j'ai eu envie de me tourner.

Obviously with the imminent return of "Game Of Thrones", it is this time on the cult series that I wanted to lean to.

En base, j'ai posé le vernis "Grey Wind" de Moonstone Polish. Il s'agit d'un vernis issu de la "What's In-die Box" spéciale Game Of Thrones dont tu peux revoir la revue par ici. Il s'inspire du direwolf de Robb Stark.

As the base color, I used the nail polish "Grey Wind" from Moonstone Polish. This is a nail lacquer from the "What's In-die Box"Special Game Of Thrones which you can see the review over here. It is based on Robb Stark's direwolf.

Puis, j'ai utilisé des water decals venant de la boutique en ligne "Tentacle Studio" sur etsy (la boutique est actuellement en vacances). Je les ai payés 6$ hors frais de port et je m'attendais à mieux.

Then, I used water decals from the online store "Tentacle Studio" on etsy (the shop is currently on vacation). I paid $6 excluding shipping and I expected better.

Les détails sont hypers fins et ils arrivent en deux tailles différentes, mais ce ne sont pas des water decals classiques, le plastique vient avec le motif et certains détails se sont estompés lorsque j'ai appliqué le top coat. Je suis donc bien contente d'avoir commandé des vinyles dédiés également à "Game Of Thrones" pour deux fois mois chers (3$) sur le site d'Eat Sleep Polish.

Details are really sharped and they come in two different sizes, but they are not conventional water decals, the plastic comes with the pattern and some details have faded when I applied top coat. I am glad I ordered some nail vinyls also dedicated to "Game Of Thrones" for half the price on Eat Sleep Polish's website.

✎ Tomcat Tales de Lilypad Lacquer

"Tomcat Tales" tire son inspiration de Tom dans le dessin animé Tom & Jerry. Il doit sa couleur grise au pelage gris du célèbre chat.

"Tomcat Tales" takes its inspiration from Tom in the cartoon Tom & Jerry. It owes its gray color to the gray fur of the famous cat.

C'est un très beau gris // argenté holographique ayant un très léger shimmer rosé. Il est parfaitement opaque en deux couches et est très agréable à appliquer.

This is a beautiful holographic gray // silver with a very slight pink shimmer. It is perfectly opaque in two layers and is very pleasant to apply.

Il est non seulement holographique, mais on a l'impression d'avoir des ongles en 3D ! Ce fût mon premier vernis de la marque Lilypad Lacquer.

It is not only holographic, but it feels like having 3D nails ! This was my first nail lacquer from the brand Lilypad Lacquer. 

Je le trouve classique mais en même temps original car il est finalement assez rare de voir des vernis de cette teinte. Il est assez recherché par les collectionneuses.

I find it classic but original at the same time as it is actually quite rare to see that shade of nail varnish. It is quite sought after by collectors.

Plus qu'une semaine avant Noël, voici donc, de nouveau un joli vernis idéal à porter pour l'occasion.

The day before yesterday, I showed you "Christmas In Paradise" from Glittering Elements which comes from the "What's In die-Box" of December 2014 on the theme : "Aussie Christmas" of which you can see or see again the review over here.

Aujourd'hui, j'ai décidé de te présenter de nouveau un vernis issu de cette box. Il s'agit de "Harbour Lights" de Glam Polish.

Today I've decided to show you another nail lacquer coming from this box. So, here is "Harbour Lights" from Glam Polish.

C'est un magnifique vert sapin très foncé et holographique. Il est également parsemé de quelques flakies dorées.

It is a beautiful holographic very dark fir green. It is also interspersed with some golden flakies.

Ce vernis a pour inspiration initiale les lumières du port de Sidney durant la période de Noël. Il est opaque en deux à trois couches.

This nail varnish has for initial inspiration the lights of the Sydney harbor during the Christmas period. It is opaque in two to three layers.

C'est clairement le vernis de la box "Aussie Christmas" le plus traditionnel, et qui correspond le plus à "l'esprit de Noël".

This is clearly the most traditional nail polish from the box "Aussie Christmas" and which most closely matches the "spirit of Christmas".

Il est superbe posé seul, mais je me vois bien l'utiliser pour en faire un nail art pour Noël, pourquoi pas ?

It is superb on its own, but I can also see myself using it for a nail art for Christmas, why not ?

Voilà les filles pour ce beau vernis, on se retrouve dimanche pour un nail art de Noël, même si je n'ai toujours pas d'idée de ce que je vais faire pour le 25 !

☼ Christmas In Paradise // Glittering Elements

Noël approchant à grand pas (oui, oui, Noël, c'est déjà la semaine prochaine !!!), j'ai décidé de vous montrer quelques vernis de Noël !

Christmas is fast approaching (can you believe Christmas is already next week !!!), I have decided to show you some Christmas nail polishes !

Je commence avec "Christmas In Paradise" de Glittering Elements. Il vient de la "What's In-die Box" de décembre 2014 sur le thème : "Aussie Christmas // Noël Australien" dont tu peux voir ou revoir la revue par ici.

I am gonna start with "Christmas In Paradise" from Glittering Elements. It comes from the "What's In die-Box" of December 2014 on the theme : "Aussie Christmas" of which you can see or see again the review over here.

Petit rappel, cette box est composée de vernis indies australiens. Et pour info Noël en Australie, c'est sous le soleil en bikini à 30°C.

Quick reminder, this box is made up of Australian indies nail lacquers. And for the record, Christmas in Australia is in a bikini under the sun at 30°C.

Ce vernis a pour inspiration initiale le bleu de l'océan. C'est un bleu avec une pointe de turquoise et un shimmer bleu qui me fait penser au scintillement du soleil sur les vagues.

This nail varnish has the blue of the ocean as initial inspiration. It's a blue with a hint of turquoise and a blue shimmer which makes me think of the glittering of sunlight on the waves.

À première vue, ce vernis ne fait pas très Noël puisqu'en général, on a plus l'habitude de voir du rouge, du vert ou bien encore du doré qui sont des couleurs plus traditionnelles.

At first sight, this nail polish is not very Christmassy since in general we are more used to see red, green or even golden which are more traditional colors.

Toutefois le spectre bleu // argent // blanc, est également assez présent au moment des fêtes de fin d'année. C'est pourquoi je me vois bien tout de même le porter pour Noël ou en faire un nail art, comme je l'ai déjà fait d'ailleurs par ici.

However the blue // silver // white spectrum, is also quite present during the holiday season. This is why I can totally see myself wear it for Christmas or making a nail art, as I have already done it here by the way.

Je ne pensais pas aimer autant ce vernis, et puis finalement une fois posé, je l'ai adoré !! Il n'est pas commun certes, mais très joli, et puis je peux le porter toute l'année !!!

I did not expect to like as much this nail polish, and then finally once laid, I love it !! It indeed is unusual, but very pretty, and then I can wear it all year long !!! 

Il a un petit défaut cependant, il n'est pas très opaque. Il m'a fallu 3/4 fines couches pour obtenir cette opacité. Et toi, qu'est ce que tu vas porter pour Noël ? Pour l'instant, je n'en ai pas la moindre idée !!

It has a small flaw, however, it is not very opaque. It took me 3/4 thin layers to get this opacity. And you, what are you going to wear for Christmas ? For now, I still have no idea !!

❄ Nail Art Hiver Enchanté

l'hiver approchant bientôt, je vous ai concocté un petit nail art spécialement pour l'occasion. Il s'agit d'un nail art que j'ai réalisé pour un nail art à thème à réaliser.

winter is coming soon, I did a small nail art especially for the occasion. This is a nail art I made for a themed nail art that I had to achieve. 

Le thème est : "Un Nail Art Enchanté". J'ai fait quelque chose de très simple, mais j'adore les flocons de neiges, je trouve ça tellement joli !!

The theme is "An Enchanted Nail Art". I did something very simple, but I love snowflakes, I find them so lovely !! 

 
J'ai commencé par poser le joli vernis "Christmas In Paradise" de Glittering Elements issu de la "What's In-die Box" de décembre 2014 sur le thème d'un Noël Australien, dont tu peux voir ou revoir la revue par ici.

I started by asking the pretty nail polish "Christmas In Paradise" from Glittering Elements coming from the "What's In-die Box" of December 2014 on the theme of an Aussie Christmas, of which you can see or review the post over here. 

Je n'avais pas encore eu l'occasion de poser ce vernis seul, et je dois dire que j'ai été agréablement surprise ! C'est un joli bleu turquoise holographique aux reflets légèrement métallisés, par contre il n'est pas du tout opaque, j'ai du en poser 4 couches !

I had not yet had the opportunity to ask this nail lacquer on its own, and I must say I was pleasantly surprised ! This is a nice holographic turquoise with slightly metallic reflections, by cons it is not at all opaque, I had to ask 4 layers !

J'ai ensuite réalisé un double stamping avec une très jolie plaque venant de chez Born Pretty Store. Il s'agit de la plaque QA58 qui est composée de motifs de flocons de neige individuels, ce qui permet de realiser ce que l'on veut comme nail art.

I then did a double stamping with a lovely plaque from Born Pretty Store. This is the QA58 plate which is made of patterns of individual snowflakes, allowing to realize what we want as nail art.

Pour ajouter un peu de magie, j'ai utilisé le top coat aux particules scatter holographiques : "Holiday" de Picture Polish. Le résultat est un peu fondu sur les photos, mais en vrai c'était vraiment très joli.

To add a little bit of magic, I used the scatter holographic top coat "Holiday" from Picture Polish. The result is slightly melted in the pictures, but in real life it was really pretty. 

J'ai de nouveau utilisé mon tampon de Praline & Cie, que je trouve beaucoup plus pratique grâce à sa tête rose, notamment pour le reverse stamping !! Tu peux retrouver le tampon ou une tête de la couleur de ton choix par ici. ♥ Vesper by Peita's Polish

Aujourd'hui, je te montre encore un sublime vernis idéal à porter en automne. De plus, avec la sortie en salles de "Spectre", le nouveau James Bond demain, il m'a semblé judicieux de porter un vernis de la "What's In-die Box" sur le thème de James Bond.

Today, I am showing you again a sublime nail polish ideal to wear in autumn. Moreover, with the theatrical release of "Spectre", the new James Bond tomorrow, it seemed wise to wear a nail lacquer from the James Bond themed "What's In-die Box".

Il s'agit du sublime "Vesper" de Peita's Polish. Il s'inspire du personnage du même nom interprété par l'actrice française Eva Green dans "Casino Royale".

This is the gorgeous "Vesper" from Peita's Polish. It is inspired by the character with the same name played by the French actress Eva Green in "Casino Royale".

"Casino Royale" est je crois bien mon James Bond préféré (bon je ne les ai pas tous vu non plus), et c'est celui qui m'a fait vraiment aimer Daniel Craig et Eva Green.

"Casino Royale" is I believe my favorite James Bond (well I have not seen all of them either), and the one that made me really love Daniel Craig and Eva Green.

Je crois bien que "Vesper" est bien plus qu'une simple James Bond Girl aux yeux de 007, et c'est l'un des personnages féminins les plus intéressants de la saga à mes yeux.

I believe that "Vesper" is way more than just a Bond girl for 007, and this is one of the most interesting female characters of the saga to me.

Enfin, demain de nouveau une frenchie pour séduire James Bond, et cette fois, c'est la jolie Léa Seydoux qui s'y colle, on à vraiment la côte aux yeux des British, ou aux yeux des producteurs américains, selon le point de vue ;-)

Finally, tomorrow, there's a new Frenchie to seduce James Bond, and this time it's the lovely Léa Seydoux, we are really popular among British, or among US producers, according to the point of view ;-)

Bref, revenons-en au vernis pour le moment. "Vesper" est un violet très profond, presque noir. Il est absolument magnifique. Il est opaque en deux couches, et à une texture très agréable à poser.

Anyway, let us return to nail varnish for now. "Vesper" is a very deep purple, almost black. It is absolutely beautiful. It is opaque in two coats and has a very nice texture to ask.

Je t'invite à voir ou revoir la revue sur la "What's In-die Box" dédiée à l'univers de James Bond par ici. C'est vraiment l'un de mes préférés. Il a un fini laqué absolument magnifique et sa nuance intense est vraiment à tomber.

Sa couleur vient d'une robe portée par Vesper Lynd dans "Casiono Royale". Moi qui suis fan de violet, j'adore vraiment celui-ci et c'est sans doute l'un de mes violets préférés.

Its color comes from a dress worn by Vesper Lynd in "Casino Royale." I am a huge fan of purple, I really love this one and it's probably one of my favorite purple ever.

Alors comment vas-tu passer ton jour férié ? Vas-tu rendre visite à notre agent secret préféré dans les salles obscures ? J'irai bientôt le voir mais sans doute pas demain pour ma part.
