▤ Du Maroilles pour la Journée Internationale du Fromage

Hier c'était le Nailstorming, et bien que j'ai eu fini mon nail art, je n'ai pas le temps d'écrire mon article. Voici donc un peu en retard mon nail art dédié au fromage pour la "Journée Internationale du Fromage".

Yesterday it was the Nailstorming, and even though I had finished my nail art, I did not have time to write my article. So here is a bit late my nail art dedicated to cheese for the "International Cheese Day".

Ce nail art en fait était pour l'anniversaire d'Aline_éa qui organise le Nailstorming tous les dimanches. Comme elle a également proposé le thème du fromage pour le Nailstorming, deux jours plus tard, je n'ai pas jugé bon de faire deux nail arts fromagers dans la même semaine.

This nail art actually was for the birthday of Aline_éa who organizes the Nailstorming every Sunday. As she also proposed the cheese theme for the Nailstorming, two days later I did not want to do two cheesy nail arts in the same week.

D'ailleurs initialement, j'avais prévu de faire un plateau de fromages sur mes ongles avec chaque ongle différent. Puis j'ai finalement décidé de m'inspirer de la croûte du Maroilles.

Besides, in the first place, I had planned to make a cheese tray on my nails with each nail different. Then I finally decided to take inspiration from the crust of Maroilles.

Pour la réalisation de ce nail art, j'ai tout d'abord posé le jaune pastel "Banana Split" de Models Own. Il est opaque en trois couches et est un peu chiant à poser comme tous les vernis à ongles pastels.

For the realization of this nail art, I first posed the pastel yellow "Banana Split" of Models Own. It is opaque in three layers and is a bit annoying to lay like all the pastels nail polishes.

Puis, j'ai finalement fait un sponging, comme ce que j'aurais du faire pour le Nailstorming d'il y à deux semaines...

Then I finally did a sponging, like what I should have done for the two weeks ago's Nailstorming ...

Pour cela, j'ai posé aléatoirement "Peach Melba" de Models Own, et "All Tied Up" d'essie. Puis pour finir quelques touches de "Porcelain ll" de Sèche.

To do so, I randomly used "Peach Melba" by Models Own, and "All Tied Up" by essie. Then to finish, some touches of "Porcelain ll" from Sèche.

Enfin, j'ai appliqué une couche de top coat classique et deux couches de Sèche Vite. Puis avant que celui-ci ne soit totalement sec, avec un morceau de papier assez épais, j'ai fait des "tranchées" en appuyant plusieurs fois à chaque endroit. Et voilà !

Finally, I applied a layer of regular top coat and two coats of Sèche Vite. Then before it was completely dry, with a piece of paper thick enough, I made "trenches" by pressing several times at the same spot. There you go !

À l'origine, je voulais vous montrer deux vernis par post pour ne pas trop vous spammer, mais je n'ai finalement pas eu envie de tronquer de jolies photos, donc, je leur ai dédié un post chacun !!

Et je commence aujourd'hui avec le magnifique "Belle Of The Ball". Au début j'ai pensé qu'il était dédié à Belle de "La Belle et la Bête", mais j'ai vu qu'il y avait également un jeu vidéo appelé "Belle Of The Ball", il faudra que je demande confirmation auprès de Cat (la créatrice).

And I'm starting today with the wonderful "Belle Of The Ball". At first I thought it was dedicated to Belle of "Beauty and the Beast," but I saw that there was also a video game called "Belle Of The Ball", I must request confirmation from Cat (the designer).

"Belle Of The Ball" est un jaune soleil, un jaune bouton d'or, il est holographique et a un shimmer jaune. Selon l'opacité que tu recherches, deux couches peuvent être suffisantes. J'en porte ici 4 très fines couches, mais il sèche très vite donc ce n'est pas un souci. Tu peux aussi le porter sur un jaune ou un blanc par exemple.

"Belle Of The Ball" is a sunny yellow, a buttercup yellow, it is holographic and has a yellow shimmer. According to the opacity you're looking for, two layers may be enough. I wear here 4 very thin layers, it dries very quickly so it's not an issue. You can also wear it over a yellow or white, for example.

D'habitude je déteste le jaune, mais lorsque j'ai vu les premiers swatchs, j'ai eu un véritable coup de coeur pour celui-ci, je ne sais pas si c'est parce que j'ai énormément de vernis dans ma vernithèque et que donc, je commence à être attirée par de nouvelles couleurs, mais je l'adore !

Usually I hate yellow, but when I saw the first swatches I had a real crush for this one, I don't know if it's because I have a tremendous amount of nail lacquers in my stash and therefore I began to be attracted by new colors, but I love it !

Bon déjà, j'ai vraiment du mal avec le jaune, ce n'est pas une couleur que je porte en vêtement, et donc en vernis, je dois en avoir deux ou trois pour le nail art, mais c'est vraiment rare que je porte un vernis jaune posé seul.

Well, first of all, I really have trouble with yellow, this is not a color I wear for clothes or nail polishes, I must have like two or three for nail art, but it's really rare that I wear a yellow nail varnish laid on it's own.

☢ Light Of Day by Pime Dream Polish

Aujourd'hui, on continue notre série estivale avec la collection de vernis néons "A Night In Vegas" de Pipe Dream Polish, et c'est maintenant au tour du jaune fluo "Light Of Day".

"Light Of Day" est le jaune néon de la collection. C'est un jaune extrêmement néon !!! Il est tellement néon, qu'on peut dire qu'il est fluorescent ! Il a un léger shimmer jaune qui ne se voit donc pas du tout une fois posé.

"Light Of Day" is the neon yellow from the collection. This is an extremely neon yellow !!! It is so much neon, that we can say it is fluorescent ! It has a light yellow shimmer which we cannot see at all once laid.

Il est opaque en trois fines couches. Tous les vernis de la collection ont un shimmer et un fini mat, mais une fois top coatés, on dirait du gel. Je l'ai déjà utilisé pour nail arter par ici. Et comme tous les vernis de la collection, c'est un bonheur à poser, sa texture est hyper agréable !

It is opaque in three thin layers. All the polishes from the collection have a shimmer and a matte finish, but once top coated, it looks like gel. I already used it for a nail art right here. And like all the polishes of the collection, it is a joy to lay, its texture is super nice !

Il faut savoir que je déteste le jaune et que je dois avoir pas plus de 3 vernis jaunes, mais étrangement j'ai vraiment ADORÉ porter celui-ci qui est vraiment peu commun.

You should know that I hate yellow and that I must have no more than 3 yellow nail polishes, but oddly I really LOVED to wear this one which is really unusual.

Quand je l'ai porté, mon copain m'a dit : "Wow !" dans le sens ton vernis est radioactif, il brille dans la nuit xD. Mais c'est vrai qu'il n'y avait presque plus de lumière du jour, et on ne voyait que mes ongles !!

When I wore it, my boyfriend said: "Wow !", meaning your nail polish lookss radioactive, it glows in the night xD. But it's true, there was almost no daylight, and we saw nothing else but my nails !!

J'avais acheté la collection entière directement sur le site de la marque l'année dernière avant la folie générale, d'ailleurs tu pourras constater que j'ai encore les anciennes étiquettes ;-)
