❄ Nailstorming : on se les "Jell", vernis Jelly

Aujourd'hui, je re-participe pour la première fois au Nailstorming et le thème de cette semaine est : "On se les "Jell", vernis Jelly".

Hi girls,
Today I am entering again to the weekly Nailstorming for the first time and the theme of this week is: "It's chilly, Jelly nail polish".

Je n'ai pas participé plus tôt car lors de mon absence, il y à eu un "changement de propriétaire", et j'ai galéré à trouver les conditions de participation qui sont sur la page Facebook du Nailstorming que voici.

I did not participate sooner because during my absence, there was a "change of ownership", and I had a lot of trouble find the conditions of participation that are on the Facebook page of the Nailstorming over here.

Quand j'ai vu le thème, j'ai immédiatement penser à un jelly sandwich (voir définition ici). J'ai posé en base mon blanc du moment "Porcelain II" de Sèche. Cela dit il est devenu tout pâteux, j'ai donc bien galéré...

When I saw the theme, I immediately think of a jelly sandwich. I used my white of the moment "Porcelain II" from Sèche as a base. That said it became all pasty, so it was really painful...

Ensuite, j'ai stampé des flocons de neige à l'aide de deux plaques de stamping : la BM - H01 de Bundle Monster, et la M59 de Konad.

Then I stamped snowflakes with two stamping plates: the BM-H01 from Bundle Monster, and the M59 from Konad.

Pour le vernis j'ai utilisé, mon bleu chouchou "Star Of Bombay" d'Orly. Ensuite je suis passée à l'étape du Jelly Sandwich et c'est là que ça se complique.

For the nail lacquer I used, my darling blue "Star Of Bombay" from Orly. Then I realized the Jelly Sandwich and that's where it got complicated.

Tout d'abord, j'ai sélectionné le vernis "Nfu 39" de Nfu Oh, un top coat un peu laiteux aux flakies bleues / vertes iridescentes. En flacon, il à l'air opaque, mais après deux couches, toujours pas d'opacité...

First, I selected Nfu Oh's "Nfu 39" nail varnish, a milky top coat with iridescent blue / green flakies. In a bottle, it looks opaque, but after two layers, still no opacity ...

J'ai choisi le vernis "298 - Turquoise Microglitter" de Kiko, un vernis bleu translucide. J'en ai posé deux couches, ça donne un petit côté givré, mais ça reste trop léger à mon goût. Qu'est-ce que tu en penses ?

So I picked the "298 - Turquoise Microglitter" from Kiko, a translucent blue nail polish. I laid two layers, it gives a small side frosted, but it is too light for my taste. What do you think ?

🍷 Color to Diner For by O.P.I.

Toujours dans l'esprit de Noël, j'ai décidé de te montrer aujourd'hui un joli vernis de la marque O.P.I. : "Color To Diner For".

Still in the spirit of Christmas, I decided to show you today a nice nail polish from the brand O.P.I. : "Color To Diner For".

Il s'agit d'un jelly rouge au shimmer magenta. Il est opaque en trois couches, et son shimmer est bien prononcé et visible une fois le vernis posé, ce qui lui donne des reflets magenta.

It is a red jelly with a magenta shimmer. It is opaque in three layers, and its shimmer is well pronounced and visible once the nail lacquer laid, which gives it magenta hues.

J'ai eu la chance de gagner ce vernis chez ma copine blogueuse Pmabelle. Pour être honnête je ne suis pas une fana de rouge et au début, je n'étais pas emballée, emballée.

I had the chance to win this nail varnish at my blogger friend's Pmabelle. To be honest I'm not a red fan and at first I was not really pumped about it.

Mais bon je n'allais pas faire ma difficile quand même !! Je l'ai ignoré pendant un long moment car je porte très peu de rouge, et puis finalement je me suis lancée !

But I was not going to complain anyway !! I ignored it for a long time because I wear very little red, and then finally I gave it a go!

Et bien je peux te dire que je suis très contente d'avoir gagné ce vernis ! Je l'aime beaucoup ce petit rouge, je le trouve très classe, j'aime beaucoup son shimmer et je le trouve très facile à porter.

Well I can tell you that I am very glad to have won this nail polish! I like this pretty little red, I find it very classy, I like its shimmer and I find it very easy to wear.

❥ February 2015 d'Enchanted Polish

Après t'avoir montré "February 2013" en début de mois, je profite de ce 29ème jour du mois de février pour te montrer "February 2015" d'Enchanted Polish.

"February 2015", est l'un des vernis mensuels mystères imaginé par Chelsea, la créatrice de la marque indie Enchanted Polish.

"February 2015", is a mystery monthly nail polish designed by Chelsea, creator of the indie brand Enchanted Polish.

J'ai bien l'impression qu'il n'y aura pas de "Monthlies" cette année, car il y à déjà eu pas mal de vernis en vente depuis le début de l'année comme la collection "Midwinter Night's Dream" par exemple.

I have a feeling that there will be no "Monthlies" this year, as there has already been a lot of nail polishes sold since the beginning of the year such as the collection "Midwinter Night's Dream" by example. 

"February 2015" est un superbe jelly rouge holographique. Il à un shimmer rose, mais selon la lumière, il à des reflets rosés ou orangés. Il est opaque en en deux à trois couches.

"February 2015," is a stunning holographic jelly red. It has a pink shimmer, but depending of the light, it has pink or orange tints. It is opaque in two to three layers.

Si tu me suis régulièrement, tu dois avoir remarqué que le rouge n'est pas ma couleur favorite, et que j'ai vraiment du mal avec les vernis dans les tons rouges.

If you follow me regularly, you must have noticed that the red is not my favorite color, and I really struggle with lacquer in red tones.

Mais je dois dire que de tous les vernis rouges d'Enchanted Polish, c'est de loin mon favori. Sa petite note rosée fait que je l'aime vraiment beaucoup.

But I must say that of all the red nail varnishes from Enchanted Polish, this is by far my favorite. His little pinkish note does that I am really fond of.
