♬ Joyeux Noël // Nailstorming

Aujourd'hui, c'est dimanche et c'est donc le jour du Nailstorming. Et comme Noël, c'est vendredi prochain, le thème du jour est "Joyeux Noël !".

Hi girls,
Today is Sunday and it is Nailstorming's day. And as Christmas is next Friday, today's theme is "Merry Christmas !".

Franchement à Noël, je ne sais jamais quoi faire tant je déborde d'idées de nail art. Mais il y à déjà tellement de nail arts de Noël existants que c'est difficile de faire quelque chose qui n'est pas déjà vu.

Honestly at Christmas I never know what to do as I have a lot of nail art ideas. But there are already so many existing Christmas nail arts, that it's difficult to do something that hasn't been seen yet. 

Ça fait trois ans que je veux faire un "Calendrier de l'Avent" avec 24 nail arts ou vernis de Noël, mais je manque de temps pour préparer un article quotidien, un jour peut-être...

It's been three years that I want to make an "Advent Calendar" with 24 Christmas nail polishes and nail arts, but I lack time to prepare a daily post, one day maybe...

J'ai reçu pour revue il y à peu une jolie planche de water decals "Notes de Musique" venant de la boutique Kit Manucure. J'avais trop craqué sur cette planche en la voyant, et elle me faisait de l’œil depuis que je l'ai reçue !!

A little while, I've received for a review a really nice sheet of "Patition" water decals from the shop Kit Manucure. When I saw it, I had a crush on this sheet, and I wanted to use it ever singe I got it !!

Et comme je suis une grande fan de chants de Noël, (d'ailleurs, j'en écoute en ce moment même), je me suis dit que ce serait l'occasion parfaite de les utiliser.

And as I am a big fan of Christmas carols, (by the way, I am listening some right now), I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to use them.

En base, j'ai posé mon indétrônable vernis blanc : "Blanc" d'Essie en deux couches. Par contre le mien est malheureusement en fin de vie, il devient tout pâteux :/

As a base, I used my unbeatable white nail lacquer : "Blanc" from Essie in two layers. By cons mine is unfortunately at the end of its life, it becomes pasty :/

J'ai ensuite ajouté quelques paillettes de mon top coat fétiche de Noël "Party Hearty" de China Glaze. Il est composé de micro paillettes carrées dorées, de petites paillette hexagonales vertes, et de paillettes hexagonales rouges.

I then added some glitter from my favorite Christmas top coat "Party Hearty" from China Glaze. It is made of micro golden square glitters, small hexagonal green flakes, and red hexagonal flakes.

J'ai enfin posé aléatoirement quelques water decals "Notes de Musique" venant de chez Kit Manucure. D'ailleurs, tu peux te procurer cette planche par ici au petit prix de 1,20€. Puis j'ai dessiné du houx avec deux vernis Kiko.

I finally randomly placed some water decals "Music Keys" from Kit Manucure. Besides, you can get this sheet over here at the small price of €1.20. Then I drew holly with two Kiko nail varnishes.

Et j'ai top coaté le tout. J'aime beaucoup le résultat, dommage que ce nail art ne tienne pas jusqu'au 25/12 !!! Je devrais faire un autre nail art pour l'occasion ;)

And I top coated everything. I love the outcome, too bad it won't last till the 12/25 !!! I would have to do another nail art for the occasion :)

Aujourd'hui, j'ai décidé de te présenter de nouveau un vernis issu de cette box. Il s'agit de "Harbour Lights" de Glam Polish.

Today I've decided to show you another nail lacquer coming from this box. So, here is "Harbour Lights" from Glam Polish.

C'est un magnifique vert sapin très foncé et holographique. Il est également parsemé de quelques flakies dorées.

It is a beautiful holographic very dark fir green. It is also interspersed with some golden flakies.

Ce vernis a pour inspiration initiale les lumières du port de Sidney durant la période de Noël. Il est opaque en deux à trois couches.

This nail varnish has for initial inspiration the lights of the Sydney harbor during the Christmas period. It is opaque in two to three layers.

C'est clairement le vernis de la box "Aussie Christmas" le plus traditionnel, et qui correspond le plus à "l'esprit de Noël".

This is clearly the most traditional nail polish from the box "Aussie Christmas" and which most closely matches the "spirit of Christmas".

Il est superbe posé seul, mais je me vois bien l'utiliser pour en faire un nail art pour Noël, pourquoi pas ?

It is superb on its own, but I can also see myself using it for a nail art for Christmas, why not ?

☼ Christmas In Paradise // Glittering Elements

Noël approchant à grand pas (oui, oui, Noël, c'est déjà la semaine prochaine !!!), j'ai décidé de vous montrer quelques vernis de Noël !

Christmas is fast approaching (can you believe Christmas is already next week !!!), I have decided to show you some Christmas nail polishes !

Je commence avec "Christmas In Paradise" de Glittering Elements. Il vient de la "What's In-die Box" de décembre 2014 sur le thème : "Aussie Christmas // Noël Australien" dont tu peux voir ou revoir la revue par ici.

I am gonna start with "Christmas In Paradise" from Glittering Elements. It comes from the "What's In die-Box" of December 2014 on the theme : "Aussie Christmas" of which you can see or see again the review over here.

Petit rappel, cette box est composée de vernis indies australiens. Et pour info Noël en Australie, c'est sous le soleil en bikini à 30°C.

Quick reminder, this box is made up of Australian indies nail lacquers. And for the record, Christmas in Australia is in a bikini under the sun at 30°C.

Ce vernis a pour inspiration initiale le bleu de l'océan. C'est un bleu avec une pointe de turquoise et un shimmer bleu qui me fait penser au scintillement du soleil sur les vagues.

This nail varnish has the blue of the ocean as initial inspiration. It's a blue with a hint of turquoise and a blue shimmer which makes me think of the glittering of sunlight on the waves.

À première vue, ce vernis ne fait pas très Noël puisqu'en général, on a plus l'habitude de voir du rouge, du vert ou bien encore du doré qui sont des couleurs plus traditionnelles.

At first sight, this nail polish is not very Christmassy since in general we are more used to see red, green or even golden which are more traditional colors.

Toutefois le spectre bleu // argent // blanc, est également assez présent au moment des fêtes de fin d'année. C'est pourquoi je me vois bien tout de même le porter pour Noël ou en faire un nail art, comme je l'ai déjà fait d'ailleurs par ici.

However the blue // silver // white spectrum, is also quite present during the holiday season. This is why I can totally see myself wear it for Christmas or making a nail art, as I have already done it here by the way.

Je ne pensais pas aimer autant ce vernis, et puis finalement une fois posé, je l'ai adoré !! Il n'est pas commun certes, mais très joli, et puis je peux le porter toute l'année !!!

I did not expect to like as much this nail polish, and then finally once laid, I love it !! It indeed is unusual, but very pretty, and then I can wear it all year long !!! 

Il a un petit défaut cependant, il n'est pas très opaque. Il m'a fallu 3/4 fines couches pour obtenir cette opacité. Et toi, qu'est ce que tu vas porter pour Noël ? Pour l'instant, je n'en ai pas la moindre idée !!

It has a small flaw, however, it is not very opaque. It took me 3/4 thin layers to get this opacity. And you, what are you going to wear for Christmas ? For now, I still have no idea !!

❄ Glaglagla // Nailstorming

On se retrouve en ce dimanche pour le traditionnel nailstorming dominical. Cette semaine le thème est "Glaglagla".

Here we are on this Sunday for the traditional dominical nailstorming. This week the theme is "Bbbbbrrrrrrr". 

Au début du mois, j'ai déjà réalisé un nail art hivernal sur le thème "Un Hiver Enchanté", si tu veux le revoir, c'est par ici.

Earlier this month, I have already achieved a winter nail art on the theme "An Enchanted Winter", if you want to see it, it's over here.

Aujourd'hui, j'ai réutilisé à peu près les mêmes couleurs. À la base je voulais faire un nail art avec des stalactites, puis je me suis souvenu que j'avais de jolis rennes trop choupis de Born Pretty Store, alors j'ai eu envie de m'en servir !!

Today, I used almost the same colors. Basically I wanted to do a nail art with stalactites, and then I remembered that I had overly cute reindeers from Born Pretty Store, so I've wanted to use them !!

En base, j'ai posé le vernis bleu holographique "Presto Magic" d'Enchanted Polish en deux couches. Puis, j'ai dégradé le bord libre afin de faire une sorte de french enneigée avec "Dime Piece" toujours d'Enchanted Polish.

For the base color, I used the holographic blue nail lacquer "Presto Magic" from Enchanted Polish in two layers. Then I did a gradient on the free edge to make kind of a snowy french with "Dime Piece" still from Enchanted Polish. 

Comme je voulais vraiment un effet de neige en train de tomber, j'ai ajouter une fine couche de mon top coat "White Polka Dots" de Nubar. C'est un top coat à micro paillettes et paillettes hexagonales blanches, il à vraiment un joli effet de flocons de neige.

As I really wanted an effect of falling snow, I added a thin layer of the "White Polka Dots" top coat from Nubar. It is a micro glitter and hexagonal white flakes top coat, it really has a pretty snowflakes look.

Today, I'm gonna speak about a book dedicated to Nail Art : Tendance Nail Art So Chic. This book is close to my heart, since I took part in it !! Not as a nail artist, but as a hands model !! 

Tous les nail arts ont été réalisés par la talentueuse Pauline, du blog Lynette Nail Art. Une fille super douée et adorable. Je suis vraiment hyper contente d'avoir pu participer à son livre et de l'avoir rencontrée. Je pense que c'est une super idée de cadeau de Noël, c'est pourquoi, j'ai décidé de te le montrer aujourd’hui ;-)

All of the nail arts has been realized by the talented Pauline from the blog Lynette Nail Art. A super gifted and adorable girl. I'm really really happy to have been participated to her book and to have met her. I think it's a great idea of a Christmas present, which is why I decided to show it to you today ;-)

Mais il y à aussi un troisième livre "Nail Art, 35 modèles expliqués pas à pas" qui regroupe 35 nail arts issus des deux livres sans vernis ni accessoires nail art toutefois, et celui-ci est en vente au prix de 7,50€. 〣Comparatif de Rouges // Enchanted Polish

Après avoir récemment posé "Pandore" d'Enchanted Polish et "November 2013", cela m'a donné envie de les comparer avec quelques-uns de leurs copains rouges de la marque au château de ma vernithèque.

After recently bought "Pandore" from Enchanted Polish and "November 2013" from Enchanted Polish, it made me want to compare it with some of their red buddies from the castle brand from my stash.

Alors pour commencer, je vais déjà te dire qui est qui ? Sur le pouce, on a "Valentine" plus une couche de "Djinn In A Bottle", sur l'index, je porte "Pandore", sur le majeur "November 2013", sur l'annulaire "July 2014" et sur l'auriculaire "February 2015".

First of all, I am going to start by telling you which is which ? On the thumb, I wear "Valentine" plus one coat of "Djinn In A Bottle", on my pointer finger, I wear "Pandore", on the middle finger : "November 2013", on the ring finger "July 2014" and on my little finger "February 2015".

Valentine + Djinn // Enchanted Polish

Rouge Sang Crème + une couche de top coat holographique

"Valentine" est le plus foncé des cinq et c'est le seul vernis à la texture crème de ma sélection. C'est un vernis rouge sang opaque en deux couches et il n'est pas épais. Je l'ai couplé avec une couche du top coat holographique "Djinn In A Bottle".

"Valentine" is the darkest of my selection, and this is the only one with a creammy texture. It's a blood red nail polish, it is opaque in two layers and is not thick. I paired it with a layer of the holographic top coat "Djinn In A Bottle".

Pandore // Enchanted Polish

"Pandore" est un rouge assez sombre avec de forts reflets holographiques. Dans le flacon, il a un shimmer doré mais, une fois posé, cela ne se voit pas, et ce sont des reflets bleutés qui apparaissent.

"Pandore" is a pretty dark red with strong holographic hues. In the bottle, it has a golden shimmer, but once laid, we can't see it, but some bluish reflections appear.

November 2013 // Enchanted Polish

"November 2013" est un beau rouge avec un shimmer un peu orangé, mais on ne le voit qu'à l'ombre. Il est opaque en deux à trois couches, discret à la lumière naturelle, et modérément holographique à la lumière artificielle.

"November 2013" is a beautiful red with kind of an orange shimmer, which we can notice under the shade. It is opaque in two to three coats, discreet under natural light, and mildly holographic under artificial light.

July 2014 // Enchanted Polish

Rouge Groseille holographique

"July 2014" est un rouge groseille holographique très vif et très chaud, il à un joli shimmer bleu. Il est opaque en deux à trois couches.

"July 2014" is a red redcurrant very bright and very hot holographic nail polish, with a nice blue shimmer. It is opaque in two to three layers.

February 2015 // Enchanted Polish

Rouge Corail Jelly holographique

"February 2015" est un rouge corail avec un shimmer rose, il à une texture jelly. Il est donc opaque en trois bonnes couches. Il est modérément holographique.

"February 2015" is a coral red with a pink shimmer, it has a jelly texture. So, it is opaque in three good layers. It is moderately holographic.

Niveau application, ils se valent tous, je dirais juste que le crème "Valentine" est un peu plus épais. Pareil pour l'opacité, ils leur faut tous deux à trois couches. Là par contre, "Valentine" est un peu plus opaque, mais étant donné qu'il faut lui rajouter une couche de "Djinn In A Bottle", cela revient au même. Niveau holographie, "Pandore" est le plus holo. Pour le prix, le plus difficile à trouver est "November 2013", sa côte est donc un peu plus élevée. "July 2014", et "February 2015" se trouvent facilement d'occasion de 15€ à 20€, quand à "Valentine" et "Pandore", ils devraient surement être remis en vente. J'espère que ce comparatif pourra t'aider ? Et que cela t'as plu ? N'hésite pas à m'en informer, si tu souhaites en voir plus souvent !

For the application, they are all worth, I would just say that "Valentine" as a cream is slightly thicker. Same for opacity, they do require all two to three layers. There by cons, "Valentine" is a bit more opaque, but given that it is necessary to add a layer of "Djinn In A Bottle", it's the same. For the holography, "Pandore" is the most holo. For the price, the more difficult to find is "November 2013", therefore its coast is a little higher. "July 2014" and "February 2015" are easily found second hand from 15€ to 20€, as for "Valentine" and "Pandore", they should probably be restocked. I hope that this comparison will help you ?
