✿ Kitty Blossoms d'Eat Sleep Polish

Hello les filles,
Comme nous sommes en plein commencement du Printemps et en plein Hanami (floraison des cerisiers japonais), j'ai jugé bon de poser le très beau "Kitty Blossoms" de la marque Eat Sleep Polish.

Hello girls,
As we are in full spring and fully in Hanami (flowering sakura trees), I thought it would be the perfect time to pose the beautiful "Kitty Blossoms" from the brand Eat Sleep Polish.

"Kitty Blossoms" est un custom (vernis personnalisé), créé pour le groupe Facebook des fans de la marque : "Eat Sleep Polish : A Kitty Haven".

"Kitty Blossoms" is a custom nail varnish created for the Facebook fans group of the brand: "Eat Sleep Polish: A Kitty Haven".

Malheureusement Caterina, la créatrice de la marque a cessé de créer des vernis depuis la rentrée 2016. Et c'est bien dommage car Eat Sleep Polish était l'une de mes marque chouchous.

Unfortunately Caterina, the creator of the brand has ceased to create nail lacquers since 2016. And that is a shame because Eat Sleep Polish was one of my favorite brands.

De plus, j'avais créé un vernis en collaboration avec Eat sleep Polish qui aurait dû sortir l'année dernière mais il ne sera jamais mis en vente, je te le montrerai un de ces jours.

Moreover, I had created a nail polish in collaboration with Eat sleep Polish that should have come out last year but it will never be sold, I'll show it to you someday.

Du coup, j'en profite pour porter certains de ces beaux vernis lorsque l'occasion se présente. Et aujourd'hui, c'est donc le tour du beau "Kitty Blossoms".

So, I take the opportunity to wear some of these beautiful nail varnishes when the opportunity come out. And today is the turn of the beautiful "Kitty Blossoms".

J'ai mis la photo d'inspiration qui a servi à créer ce vernis à la fin de l'article. Je dois avouer que je m'attendais plutôt à un rose pâle ou à un bleu ciel, et que j'ai été surprise mais pas déçue du résultat final.

I put the inspiration picture that was used to create this nail lacquer at the end of the post. I must admit that I expected a pale pink or a sky blue, and that I was surprised but not disappointed with the final outcome.

"Kitty Blossoms" est un très beau rose // rouge holographique au shimmer bleu qui fait penser au ciel se reflétant sur les fleurs. Il est opaque en deux couches et est très agréable à appliquer.

"Kitty Blossoms" is a very beautiful holographic red // rose with a blue shimmer that reminds one of the sky reflection on the flowers. It is opaque in two layers and is very pleasant to apply.

Tu l'auras compris ce beau vernis n'est donc plus disponible à la vente, mais n'hésite pas à fouiller les vide vernithèque, tu devrais pouvoir le trouver :)

❀ Spring // Picture Polish : Picture Polish Swatch Challenge

Ça y est c'est officiellement le Printemps ! Pour l'occasion ainsi que pour le "Swatch Challenge" organisé par Picture Polish, j'ai décidé de poser le magnifique vernis "Spring".

This is officially Spring! For the occasion as well as for the "Swatch Challenge" organized by Picture Polish, I decided to wear the beautiful nail lacquer "Spring".

Depuis le début de l'année la marque indie australienne Picture Polish organise pas mal de concours sur sa page Instagram. Il s'agit soit de swatch, soit de nail arts, avec uniquement des vernis de la marque bien entendu.

Since the beginning of the year the indie Australian brand Picture Polish organizes quite a lot of giveaways on its Instagram page. These are either swatch or nail arts, with only nail varnishes from the brand of course.

J'ai eu l'occasion de participer au mois de février au challenge nail art, tu peux voir ou revoir mon nail art par ici. "Spring" est un de mes vernis Picture Polish préféré avec "Forget Me Not" et "Honey Moon". Je ne remercierais jamais assez ma copine Little Framboise de me l'avoir offert.

I had the opportunity to enter in the nail art challenge in February, you can see my nail art over here. "Spring" is one of my favorite Picture Polish nail varnishes with "Forget Me Not" and "Honey Moon". I would never thank my friend Little Framboise enough for gifting it to me.

C'est un très joli rose froid scatter holographique avec des notes mauves selon la lumière. Il est opaque en trois couches mais il sèche très vite et c'est un plaisir à appliquer !

It is a very pretty scatter holographic cold pink with mauve notes according to the light. It is opaque in three layers but it dries very quickly and it is a pleasure to apply!

Pour ce concours, il fallait faire le swatch d'un des vernis de la marque et le prendre en photo dans l'un de nos endroits préférés et expliquer pourquoi.

For this contest, we had to swatch one of the brand's nail lacquers and take a picture of it in one of our favorite places and explain why.

J'ai hésité à poser "Paris" et à aller faire des photos dans des endroits touristiques de Paris, mais je me suis dit que ce serait trop cliché, et puis je l'avais déjà swatché par ici.

I hesitated to wear "Paris" and to go to take pictures in touristic places of Paris, but I thought that it would be too cliché, and then I had already swatched it over here.

J'ai donc préféré poser "Spring" à la place et comme je suis une amoureuse des cerisiers japonais et qu'on est en plein dans la saison de leur floraison, je me suis dit que ce serait parfait ! N'hésite pas à liker ma photo sur Instagram !

So I preferred to lay "Spring" instead and as I am a lover of Japanese cherry trees and we are fully in the bloom season, I thought it would be perfect! Do not hesitate to like my picture on Instagram!

❦ Nail Art Printanier aux Couleurs de Greenery, le Pantone 2017

Aujourd'hui c'est dimanche et qui dit dimanche, dit : Nailstorming ! Cette semaine, le thème est : "Printemps".

Hello girls,
Today is Sunday, it is then the day of the Nailstorming! This week, the theme is "Spring".

Et oui, le Printemps c'est enfin demain, et ça fait bien une dizaine de jours qu'il fait un temps doux et printanier, et ça fait plaisir !!

And yes, Spring is tomorrow at last, and it's been a good ten days that the weather is sweet and springy, and it's quite nice !!

D'ailleurs ce soir je m'en vais à Londres pour une petite semaine. J'en suis bien contente car d'une part, j'ai besoin de souffler et d'autre part, c'est ma ville préférée !

Besides this evening I'm going to London for a small week. I am glad because on one hand, I need to getaway for awhile and on the other hand, it is my favorite city!

Pour en revenir à mon nail art printanier, je me suis dit que ce serait l'occasion idéale pour utiliser la couleur Pantone de l'année 2017 : "Greenery", un jolis vert frais et acidulé.

Going back to my spring nail art, I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to use the color Pantone of the year 2017: "Greenery", a nice, fresh and vivid green.

J'en ai trouvé un vernis s'en rapprochant très fortement : le "297 - Acid Green" de chez Kiko, que tu peux revoir posé seul par ici.

I found a very close nail polish: the "297 - Acid Green" from Kiko, which you can see again by itself over here.

J'ai décidé de l'accompagner de deux autres beaux vernis verts, toujours de chez Kiko : "296 - Meadow Green" et "534 - Green Forest" et d'en faire un dégradé.

I decided to accompany it with two other beautiful green nail varnishes, still from Kiko: "296 - Meadow Green" and "534 - Green Forest" and make it a gradient.

❀ Picture Polish Nail Art Challenge 2 2017 : Gradient // Dégradé

Aujourd'hui, je viens te présenter ma participation au "Picture Polish Nail Art Challenge 2 2017" sur le thème du dégradé.

Here I am today showing you my participation to the "Picture Polish Nail Art Challenge 2 2017" on the gradient's theme.

En effet, la marque de vernis à ongles australienne Picture Polish organise très fréquemment des concours sur sa page Instagram. D'habitude je manque de chance et je rate les conditions à chaque fois, mais cette fois ma copine Adilys2 m'a tagué et j'ai donc pu enfin participer !!

Indeed, the Australian brand of nail polishes Picture Polish very frequently organizes contests on its Instagram. Usually I lack of luck and I miss the conditions every time, but this time my friend Adilys2 tagged me, so I was finally able to enter !!

Non seulement les lots sont supers chouettes (cette fois 150$ de bon d'achat à dépenser sur leur site). Mais en plus, je prends toujours beaucoup de plaisir à participer à ces concours créatifs.

Not only the lots are great (this time a $150 voucher to spend on their site). But in addition, I always take great pleasure to participate in these creative contests.

Cette fois le thème est donc "dégradé". J'ai beaucoup hésité quant au choix des vernis et à la réalisation du dégradé (emplacement, forme, technique...).

This time the theme is "gradient". I hesitated a lot about the choice of nail lacquers and the realization of the gradient itself (location, shape, technique ...).

Au début, je pensais à du bleu, étant donné que j'ai pas mal de vernis bleus de la marque : "Freya's Cats", "Forget Me Not" (un de mes vernis préférés que tu peux revoir ici), "Cosmos", "Hope" (swatch ici), "Lagoon", "Ocean" (également un vernis magnifique, swatch ici)...

At first, I thought of blue, because I have a lot of blue nail polishes of the brand: "Freya's Cats", "Forget Me Not" (one of my favorite nail lacquers that you can see here), "Cosmos", "Hope" (swatch right here), "Lagoon", "Ocean" (also a beautiful nail varnish, swatch over here)...

Puis finalement en regardant mes Picture Polish, ce sont "Spring" (merci Julie de m'avoir offert cette beauté), et "Honey Moon" qui sont sortis du lot. Au début, j'allais réalisé une french en diagonale comme j'ai pu le faire ici. Mais finalement j'ai opté pour un dégradé en demi-lune.

Then finally while looking at my Picture Polish, it's "Spring" (thank you Julie for gifting me this beauty), and "Honey Moon" that stand out. At the beginning, I was going to make a diagonal French as I did here. But finally I opted for a half-moon gradient.

Voilà donc le résultat, j'espère qu'il te plaît et n'hésite pas à liker ma photo sur Instagram si il te plaît aussi ! Maintenant je croise les doigts pour tenter de remporter ce concours ! Bises les filles et à très bientôt.

❁ C'est l'Printemps // Nailstorming

On se retrouve aujourd'hui comme tous les dimanches pour le nailstorming, et le thème de cette semaine est : "C'est l'Printemps !".

Hello girls !!
today we meet like every Sunday for the weekly nailstorming, and this week's is : "It's Spring !".

Je n'étais pas trop optimiste lorsque j'ai vu la neige dimanche dernier, mais je dois dire que le temps s'est bien adouci et que j'en suis ravie !!!

I was not too optimistic when I saw the snow last Sunday, but I have to say that the weather is warmer and I'm thrilled !!!

Pour ce nail art, j'avais envie de douceur, de couleurs pastelles et printanières. Au début, j'avais choisi trois vernis Models Own de la collection Fruit Pastels que j'aime beaucoup.

For this nail art, I wanted softeness, some pastel and spring shades. At first, I had chosen three Models Own nail lacquers from the Fruit Pastels Collection which I like a lot.

Il s'agit d'une jolie collection de vernis pastels parfumés aux fruits. J'ai toute la collection même le blanc "Coconut Cream" que j'ai posé ici en base de ce nail art.

This is a beautiful collection of pastel fruity scented nail varnishes. I have all the collection even the white "Coconut Cream" which I have applied here as a base to this nail art. 

Je voulais ensuite utiliser en stamping le rose "Strawberry Tart" et le mint "Apple Pie", mais du pastel stampé sur du blanc, cela ne donne pas grand chose.

Then, for the stamping I was going to use the pink "Strawberry Tart" and the mint "Apple Pie", but pastels stamped over white, does not give much.

Du coup, j'ai sorti des venis plus néons, des petites pépites que l'on m'a offert à Noël le mint "Samba Beats" et le rose "Sun Has Set", tous deux venant de la collection Samba de la marque ella + mila.

So, I took more neon nail poilshes, some little nuggets that I was giftes for Christmas, the mint "Samba Beats" and the pink "Sun Has Set", both from the Samba collection of the brand ella + mila. 

J'ai choisi une plaque de stamping que m'a envoyé la boutique en ligne Kit Manucure, et que tu peux retrouver ici pour réaliser un joli motif fleuri. J'ai simplement appliqué du mint, sur la moitié du motif, et du rose sur l'autre moitié, et voilà le résultat !!

I chose a stamping plate that the online store Kit Manucure has sent me, and that you can find here to make a pretty floral pattern. I simply applied mint, onto one half of the pattern, and pink over the other half, and here is the result !!
