❃ Stamping Master : Dans une Jungle Mint & Rose

Aujourd'hui, c'est avec grand plaisir que je vous montre ma première participation au "Stamping Master". Le thème d'aujourd'hui est : "Jungle et/ou Mint & Rose", le thème mensuel général est les fleurs.

Today it is with great pleasure that I am showing you my first participation to the "Stamping Master". Today's theme is "Jungle and / or Mint & Pink", the general monthly theme is "Flowers".

Le Stamping Master est un rendez-vous hebdomadaire ayant lieu tous les mercredi pour toutes les passionnées de nail art autour d'un thème donné.

The Stamping Master is a weekly appointment held every Wednesday for all the passionates of nail art around a given theme.

C'est un peu comme le nailstorming sauf qu'il s'agit ici exclusivement de réaliser du stamping. Si tu veux plus d'infos, n'hésite pas à consulter le blog de l'organisatrice par ici.

Cela faisait un moment que je voyais les posts défiler notamment sur Instagram, et comme j'adore le stamping, j'avais envie de participer !!!

It has been a while since I saw the posts scrolling especially on Instagram, and as I love stamping, I absolutely wanted to participate !!!

Et je tente enfin aujourd'hui car j'ai particulièrement aimé le thème. J'adore le mint et le rose, et je trouvais que c'étaient des couleurs idéales pour faire un stamping tropical !!

And I finally tried today because I particularly liked the theme. I love mint and pink, and I thought they were ideal colors for a tropical stamping !!

En ce moment chez moi il grêle et j'ai même eu le droit à quelques flocons de neige hier... Du coup, j'essaie de faire venir le soleil de la manière que je peux. Après mon nail art ananas de dimanche, voici donc un nail art tropical aujourd'hui !!

Right now at my place, there is some hail it and I even saw a few snowflakes yesterday... So, I try to bring the sun the way I can. After my Pineapple nail art on Sunday, here is a tropical nail art today !!

En base, j'ai donc posé le très joli et tout doux vernis mint "A Little Fishy Told Me" d'Enchanted Polish. Ensuite, j'ai réalisé un double stamping par dessus.

As a base, I asked the lovely and soft mint nail polish "A Little Fishy Told Me" from Enchanted Polish. Then I realized a double stamping above.

Pour cela, j'ai utilisé la plaque de stamping aux feuilles de palmiers 01 de la marque française Topa Topa. J'ai d'abord stampé en blanc, puis avec le vernis rose néon "On The List" de Pipe Dream Polish.

To do so, I used the palm leaves stamping plate 01 from the French brand Topa Topa. I first stamped in whit, then with the pink neon nail lacquer "On The List" from Pipe Dream Polish.

Et voilà le résultat !!! J'espère que ma première participation au "Stamping Master" te plaît ? J'espère avoir l'occasion de participer plus fréquemment dorénavant!!

🍹 Mon Métier (de Rêve) // Nailstorming

Comme chaque dimanche, on se retrouve aujourd'hui pour le nailstorming. Cette semaine, le thème est : "Mon Métier ou Mon Métier de Rêve".

Hello girls,
Like every Sunday, we meet today for the nailstorming. This week's theme is: "My Job or My Dream Job." 

Bon, moi j'ai un gros problème, je suis une touche à tout, et malgré mon "âge avancé", je ne sais toujours pas ce que je veux faire plus tard, sauf que plus tard = maintenant !

Well, I have a big problem, I'm kind of a jack of all trades, and despite my "advanced age", I still don't know what I want to do later, except later is now !

Pendant six mois, je veux être décoratrice d'intérieur, puis je veux intégrer l'armée, puis, je veux être prof d'anglais, puis je veux être photographe, puis je veux être maquilleuse professionnelle, enfin bref, ça n'arrête jamais !!!

For six months, I want to be an interior designer, then I want to join the army, then I want to be an English teacher, then I want to be a photographer, then I want to be a professional makeup artist, in short, it does never stop !!! 

Non pas, que je ne sache pas ce que je veux faire dans la vie, au contraire, je veux faire tellement de choses ! Et je n'arrive pas à me fixer sur un seul métier, je trouve ça vraiment triste en fait de devoir faire la même chose toute sa vie.

No, that I don't know what I want do with my life, on the contrary, I want to do so many things ! And I cannot settling on only one trade, I find it really sad having to do the same thing throughout our life.

J'ai quand même un vrai métier de rêve, c'est de bosser dans l'humanitaire, et de me rendre utile. Je devais partir l'année prochaine en mission d'ailleurs mais pour l'instant, je n'ai pas de suite...

I still do have a real dream job, it is to work into humanitarian and making myself useful. By the way, I should go next year on a mission but for now, it's on hold...

Donc, aujourd'hui, j'ai décidé de te parler plutôt d'un métier que j'ai exercé pendant six ans : barman. Je trouvais que c'était un métier sympa à illustrer en nail art, et ce fût une bonne expérience professionnelle pour moi !

So today I've decided to talk to you instead of a profession that I've worked for six years : bartender. I thought it was a fun job to illustrate as a nail art, and it was a good professional experience for me ! 

Pour cela, j'ai tout d'abord réalisé un dégradé utilisant les couleurs du célèbre et délicieux cocktail "Sex On The Beach". J'ai choisi les sublimes néons de la collection "A Night In Vegas" de Pipe Dream Polish : le rose "On The List", et le orange"110 Degrees".

To do so, I first realized a gradient using the colors of the famous and yummy cocktail "Sex On The Beach". I chose the gorgeous neons from the collection "A Night In Vegas" of Pipe Dream Polish : the pink "On The List" and the orange "110 Degrees".

Ensuite, et c'est là que ça se complique, j'ai utilisé des nails stickers de chez Claire's. C'est une planche contenant pleins de verres à cocktails tout mimi que j'avais acheté en soldes (heureusement).

Then, and this is where it's getting complicated, I used some nails stickers from Claire's. This is a board full of cute cocktails drinks designs, I bought on sale (thankfully).

Voilà ils ont beaux être mimi, ils sont tout pourris... J'ai posé une couche de top coat après avoir posé les nails stickers, et là ils se sont tous racornis sur eux-même, donnant un effet horrible, et surtout importable... J'ai donc du enlever mon joli nail art tout de suite après l'avoir posé :/
 
They might be cute, but they are crappy... I put a layer of top coat after placing the nails stickers, and they all shriveled on themselves, giving an ugly effect, especially unwearable... so I had to remove my pretty nail art right after asking it :/

❧ Nail Art Damask pour le #wnac2015

la semaine dernière, je vous ai parlé de ma première participation au #wnac2015 avec un splatter nail art. Et bien voici ma deuxième participation avec cette fois un joli motif Damask.

Last week I talked you about the first time I got involved to #wnac2015 with a splatter nail art. Well this is my second enter, and this time with a beautiful Damask pattern.

Le Damask (appelé aussi Damasque ou Damas) est un magnifique tissu aux motifs baroques et floraux. Je viens d'apprendre qu'il vient initialement du Vietnam, mais doit son nom à la ville de Damas en Syrie.

The Damask (also called Damasque or Damas) is a beautiful fabric with baroque and floral patterns. I just learned that it originally comes from Vietnam, but takes its name from the city of Damascus in Syria.
 

J'ai cherché dans toutes mes plaques de stamping un joli motif qui serait parfait pour l'occasion. Malheureusement, j'ai eu beau en faire le tour deux fois, je n'ai rien qui correspondait à ce que je voulais.

I looked in all of my stamping plates for a nice pattern that would be perfect for the occasion. Unfortunately, I've checked them twice, and didn't found what I wanted.
 

Je me suis donc contentée d'un motif baroque et floral également mais pas vraiment Damask :/ Il s'agit d'un motif de la plaque BM 312 de Bundle Monster.

So I settled for a baroque and floral pattern too, but not really Damask :/ This is a pattern from the BM 312 Bundle Monster stamping plate.
 

En couleur de base, j'ai posé trois couches de mon fidèle rose néon, le sublime "On The List" de Pipe Dream Polish.

As base color, I put three layers of my faithful neon pink, the sublime "On The List" from Pipe Dream Polish. 

Ensuite, j'ai donc stampé avec mon motif pseudo-Damask et le vernis noir "Licorice" d'Essie.

So, then I stamped with my pseudo-Damask pattern and the black nail polish "Licorice" from Essie.
 

Il fallait que le nail art soit holo, puisque c'est le thème principal du mois. Alors, j'ai ensuite posé une fine couche du top coat holographique "Djinn In A Bottle" d'Enchanted Polish.

It has to be an holographic nail art, since it is the main theme of this month. So I put a thin layer of the holographic top coat "Djinn In A Bottle" from Enchanted Polish.

Mais dès que j'ai vu le thème "Damask", j'ai su que je voulais un nail art mat. J'ai donc matifié le tout avec mon top coat mat chouchou : le Nfu Oh. 

But as soon as I saw the theme "Damask", I knew that I wanted a matte nail art. So I matted it all with my all time favorite matte top coat : the Nfu Oh.

Malheureusement, cela fond un peu les particules holos, mais ça donne tout de même un effet assez sympa et original je trouve ! Allez on se retrouve vendredi pour le thème "Galaxy" !

Unfortunately, this melts the holos particles a little bit, but it still gives a pretty cool and unique effect I think ! See you on Friday for the "Galaxy" theme !

Pour tout te dire, avant le néon, je n'aimais pas trop ça ! Mais ma blopine Chloé de "La Bulle de Bidi" m'a contaminé ! Et puis l'été dernier, j'ai craqué sur la sublime collection de vernis néons et 5 Free "A Night In Vegas" de Pipe Dream Polish.

To be honest with you, before, I was not really into neon. But my blogger friend Chloé "La Bulle de Bidi" infected me ! And last summer, I snapped on the sublime collection of neon and 5 Free nail polishes "A Night In Vegas" from Pipe Dream Polish.

Cette collection, tu as surement du déjà la voir un peu partout ? Je m'en suis déjà moi-même servie à plusieurs occasions, et tu peux d'ailleurs voir ou revoir mes nail arts réalisés à l'aide de ces sublimes vernis par ici.

You probably already seen this collection everywhere ? I already used it myself on many occasions, by the way, you can discover or rediscover my nail arts using these sublime polish right here.

Cette collection est géniale pour nail arter, notamment pour le watermarble. Mais j'avais envie de te présenter les vernis posés seul afin que tu puisses les voir dans toute leur beauté !

This collection is absolutely great for nail art, especially for watermarble. But I wanted to show you the nail polishes on their own so that you can see them in all their beauty !

J'avais tout de même déjà un ou deux néons dans ma vernithèque comme "Flip Flop Fantasy", l'incontournable corail néon de China Glaze. Si tu possèdes toi aussi "Flip Flop Fantasy", tu as du te rendre compte qu'il est vraiment épais à poser, comme la plupart des néons.

Still, I had already one or two neons among my stash such as "Flip Flop Fantasy", the must have neon coral from China Glaze. If you too own "Flip Flop Fantasy", you must have noticed that it is really thick to lay, like most of neons.

La première fois que j'ai posé un vernis de la collection "A Night In Vegas", j'ai été agréablement surprise par l'incroyable fluidité de ces vernis, et le plaisir de les poser. Leur texture est l'une des plus facile à travailler et appliquer, et je pense que c'est pour cela que tout le monde se les arrache !

The first time I used a nail lacquer from the "A Night In Vegas" collection, I was nicely surprised by the incredible fluidity of these varnishes, and the pleasure to lay them. Their texture is one of the easiest to work with and to apply, and I think that's why everyone's raving about them !

"On The List" est le rose néon de la collection. C'est un rose très chaud au léger shimmer violet qui ne se voit que très peu une fois posé. Il est opaque en trois fines couches. Tous les vernis de la collection ont un shimmer et un fini mat, mais une fois top coatés, on dirait du gel.

"On The List" is the pink neon of the collection. It is a very hot pink with a light purple shimmer that we barely see once laid. It is opaque in three thin layers. All the polishes from the collection have a shimmer and a matte finish, but once top coated, it looks like gel.

J'avais acheté la collection entière directement sur le site de la marque l'année dernière avant la folie générale, d'ailleurs tu pourras constater que j'ai encore les anciennes étiquettes ;-) Malheureusement la marque ne livre pas en France, il te faudra donc absolument avoir une mule. Sinon, tu peux commander les vernis Pipe Dream Polish chez les revendeurs Edgy Polish et Mei Mei's Signatures qui livrent dans le monde entier.

I bought the entire collection directly on the brand's website last year before the general madness, as you can see, I still have the old labels ;-) Unfortunately the brand does not deliver worldwide, so you'll absolutely need to have a mule. ☠ Un Joyeux Skulliversaire !

On se retrouve pour un complot aujourd'hui ! Après quelques temps avec peu ou pas d'anniversaires au sein de la team, nous voici de retour pour célébrer l'anniversaire d'Aurore alias "Skulls And Polish".

Here we are today for a plot ! After some time with few or no birthdays within the team, we are back to celebrate the anniversary of Aurore aka "Skulls And Polish".

Aurore est une blopine verniesque très sympa que je suis depuis que j'ai commencé à bloguer ! J'adore son univers gothico-kawaïesque :)

Aurore is a very nice nail blogging friend, I am following her since I've started blogging ! I love her gothic-kawaï universe :)

La consigne pour ton complot était "Skulls" d'après ton pseudo. Je me suis inspirée de ta bannière afin de réaliser un nail art skulls mais tout de même girly !

The topic for your plot was "Skulls" like your nickname. I was inspired by your banner to realize a skulls nail art but still a girly one !

J'ai posé deux couches de mon noir favori "Licorice" d'Essie sur tous les doigts sauf l'annulaire. Sur lequel j'ai réalisé un accent nail avec trois couches du rose néon "On The List" de Pipe Dream Polish.

I put two coats of my favorite black nail polish "Licorice" from Essie on all my fingers except the ring finger. On which I made a accent nail with three layers of the neon pink "On The List" from Pipe Dream Polish.

Ensuite, j'ai ajouté un peu de paillettes sur mes ongles vernis de noir. Pour cela, j'ai utilisé le top coat pailleté rose assez fou de Enchanted Polish : "Life In Plastic, It's Fantastic !".

Then I added some glitter on my black polished nails. To do so, I used the pink glittery pretty crazy top coat from Enchanted Polish : "Life In Plastic, It's Fantastic !".

Et enfin sur l'annulaire, j'ai stampé un motif Skulls à l'aide de la plaque Messy Mansion MM22 et toujours avec "Licorice" d'Essie. C'est d'ailleurs la première fois que j'ai utilisé mon tampon Creative Shop et je dois dire que je l'aime assez il est super pratique pour les gros motifs !

And finally on the ring finger, I have stamped a Skulls pattern using the Messy Mansion MM22 plate and still "Licorice" from Essie. This is also the first time I used my Creative Shop stamper and I must say I like it very much, it is very convenient for large patterns !

⚧ La Team Aux Couleurs de l'Arc en Ciel

Aujourd'hui pas de nailstorming mais un nail art réalisé pour un complot. Et cette fois, pas d'anniversaire, on est là pour parler de La Journée internationale contre l’homophobie et la transphobie.

Hello girls,
Today no nailstorming, but a nail art done for a plot. And this time, no birthday, we are here to talk about the International Day against Homophobia and Transphobia.
 

Je ne veux pas faire débat. Mais, je n'arrive pas à comprendre comment est-il possible que le racisme ou l'homophobie existent encore à notre époque ?

I do not want to debate. But, I do not understand how is it possible that racism or homophobia are still existing nowadays ?
 

Malheureusement il existera toujours des personnes contre quelque chose, et c'est pourquoi à mon échelle, j'ai souhaité participer à ma façon à cette journée.

Unfortunately there will always be people against something, which is why on my scale, I wanted to participate in my way to that day.

D'ailleurs savais-tu que La Journée internationale contre l’homophobie et la transphobie à lieu le 17 mai, car c'est le jour ou l’homosexualité a été retirée de la liste des maladies mentales le 17 mai 1990 par l’Organisation mondiale de la santé (OMS). Consternant, non ?

Besides, did you know that The International Day against Homophobia and Transphobia is held on May 17, as this is the day that homosexuality was removed from the list of mental illnesses May 17th 1990 by the Organization World Health (OWH). Appalling, right ?

Enfin bref, pour revenir sur une note plus futile, j'ai décidé de m'inspirer du drapeau multicolore représentatif du mouvement LGBT, mais qui est aussi utilisé comme drapeau pour la paix.

Anyway, to get back on a more frivolous note, I decided to take my inspiration from the representative multicolored flag of the LGBT movement, which is also used as a flag for peace.
 

J'ai donc utilisé mes vernis chouchous du moment : la collection néon "A Night In Vegas" de Pipe Dream Polish. J'ai utilisé tous les vernis de la collection sauf le turquoise qui n'est pas présent sur le drapeau.

So I used my darlings nail polishes of the moment : the neon collection "A Night In Vegas" from Pipe Dream Polish. I used all the nail lacquers from the collection except the teal which is not present on the flag.

J'ai réalisé un dégradé vertical bicolore par ongle. Sur le pouce : "On The List" et "110 Degrees", sur l'index "110 Degrees" et "Light of Day", sur le majeur "Light Of Day" et "High Roller", sur l'annulaire, "High Roller" et "All In", et pour terminer sur l'auriculaire, "All In" et "V.I.P. Pass".

I did a two-tone vertical gradient by nail. On the thumb : "On The List" and "110 Degrees", on the index "110 Degrees" and "Light of Day", on the middle finger "Light Of Day" and "High Roller" on ring finger, "High Roller" and "All In", and finally on the little finger, "All In" and "V.I.P. Pass".

Et pour terminer, j'ai ajouté des paillettes pour égayer et unifier le tout. J'ai utilisé mon top coat pailleté holographique " Fairy Dust" de China Glaze.

And finally, I added some glitter to brighten and unify teverything. I used my beloved holographic glitter top coat "Fairy Dust" from China Glaze.
