❦ Nail Art Printanier aux Couleurs de Greenery, le Pantone 2017

Aujourd'hui c'est dimanche et qui dit dimanche, dit : Nailstorming ! Cette semaine, le thème est : "Printemps".

Hello girls,
Today is Sunday, it is then the day of the Nailstorming! This week, the theme is "Spring".

Et oui, le Printemps c'est enfin demain, et ça fait bien une dizaine de jours qu'il fait un temps doux et printanier, et ça fait plaisir !!

And yes, Spring is tomorrow at last, and it's been a good ten days that the weather is sweet and springy, and it's quite nice !!

D'ailleurs ce soir je m'en vais à Londres pour une petite semaine. J'en suis bien contente car d'une part, j'ai besoin de souffler et d'autre part, c'est ma ville préférée !

Besides this evening I'm going to London for a small week. I am glad because on one hand, I need to getaway for awhile and on the other hand, it is my favorite city!

Pour en revenir à mon nail art printanier, je me suis dit que ce serait l'occasion idéale pour utiliser la couleur Pantone de l'année 2017 : "Greenery", un jolis vert frais et acidulé.

Going back to my spring nail art, I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to use the color Pantone of the year 2017: "Greenery", a nice, fresh and vivid green.

J'en ai trouvé un vernis s'en rapprochant très fortement : le "297 - Acid Green" de chez Kiko, que tu peux revoir posé seul par ici.

J'ai décidé de l'accompagner de deux autres beaux vernis verts, toujours de chez Kiko : "296 - Meadow Green" et "534 - Green Forest" et d'en faire un dégradé.

❧ Sweet Mint // Enchanted Polish

Je rattrape petit à petit mon retard dans les swatches des vernis Enchanted Polish (et j'en ai encore tellement à te montrer !). Et aujourd'hui c'est le joli "Sweet Mint" que j'ai choisi de te montrer.

I'm slowly catching up with the swatches of my Enchanted Polishes (I still have so much to show you!). And today it's the pretty "Sweet Mint" that I chose to show you.

"Sweet Mint" est un joli vernis crème frais et printanier. Le temps étant de plus en plus doux, j'ai trouvé qu'il était tout particulièrement adéquat pour la saison, le printemps approchant à grands pas.

"Sweet Mint" is a nice fresh and spring crème nail varnish. As the weather is getting milder and milder, I found it to be especially suitable for the season, with spring fast approaching.

"Sweet Mint" est l'un des trois premiers vernis crème de la marque Enchanted Polish avec le rouge "Valentine" dont tu peux voir le swatch en cliquant ici, et le noir "Paint It Black".

C'était l'époque où j'achetais encore presque tous les Enchanted Polish, j'avais donc pris tous les vernis crèmes jusqu'au trio "Cotton Candy Taffy", "Taro Milk Tea", et "Melted Popsicle".

Back then, I was still buying allmost all of the Enchanted Polishes, so I bought all of the creme nail lacquers until the trio "Cotton Candy Taffy", "Taro Milk Tea", and "Melted Popsicle".

Franchement ils sont très jolis, il n'y à rien à dire. Mais même si Enchanted Polish est une marque de grande qualité, cela m'embête de dépenser 16€ sans compter frais de ports et éventuels frais de douanes pour un simple vernis crèmes.

Honestly they are really beautiful, I can't say otherwise. But, even if Enchanted Polish is a high quality brand, it bothers me a lot to pay $16 without shipping fees and possible custom fees for a simple crème nail varnish.

Surtout que l'on peut trouver des dupes ou des couleurs très très similaires assez facilement. Et surtout ce qui me gène chez les Enchanted Polish, c'est qu'ils sont opaques en trois couches et épais à l'application.

Especially that one can find dupes or very very similar colors quite easily. And especially what gets me in the Enchanted Polish is that they are opaque in three layers and thick.

Si tu tiens absolument à te le procurer, tu peux le trouver directement sur le site de la marque pour 16$ (il est restocké régulièrement). Ou dans un vide vernithèque pour 10/12€. Bisous les filles.

༄ Nailstorming : "Mardi Gras"

Aujourd'hui on se retrouve pour un double rendez-vous : le traditionnel Nailstorming dominical qui cette semaine a pour thème "Mardi Gras". Mais aussi pour le RDV des NPA qui ce mois-ci est un Twinnails dont le thème est Carnaval // Watermarble.

Today we meet for a double date: the traditional Sunday Nailstorming which theme is "Mardi Gras". But also for the NPAs Rendez-Vous which this month is a Twinnails whose theme is Carnival // Watermarble.

Le carnaval ne m'inspire pas des masses, je me suis dit que je n'aurai pas envie de faire deux nail arts distincts pour l'occasion. C'est pourquoi j'ai décidé de faire d'une pierre deux coups avec ce nail art !

Carnival does not inspire me much, I thought I wouldn't want to do two distinct nail arts for the occasion. That's why I decided to make two strokes with this nail art!

Pour le RDV des NPA, nous devions nous inspirer d'un nail art et le réaliser en binôme. J'ai réalisé ce nail art avec ma copine Boulilulu qui doit être l'une des premières NPA que j'ai rencontrée, il y a un moment maintenant !

For the NPAs Rendez-Vous, we had to be inspired by a nail art and realize it in pairs. I realized this nail art with my friend Boulilulu who must be one of the first NPAs I met, a while ago now!

Après avoir écumé le net à la recherche de watermarble qui faisaient Carnaval, nous nous sommes mises d'accord pour reproduire un nail art de Melyne Nail Art que tu peux revoir ici. Comme nous sommes désormais voisines (mais vraiment collées !), nous nous sommes organisé une session NPA vendredi après-midi dernier, pour pouvoir réaliser le nail art ensemble.

After scouring the net in search of a Carnival look watermarble, we agreed to reproduce a nail art from Melyne Nail Art that you can see here. Since we are now neighbors (really close ones!), we organized a NPA session last Friday afternoon, to be able to realize the nail art together.

Si tu te demandes pourquoi le bleu est devenu vert, c'est parce que je n'aime pas poser du blanc en base. Et évidemment, je n'avais pas pensé que bleu + jaune = vert ! En base, j'ai posé "Light Of Day" de Pipe Dream Polish, puis j'ai nail arté avec le bleu "All In", et le magenta "V.I.P. Pass".

If you wonder why the blue has become green, it's because I do not like to put a white base. And of course, I didn't think that blue + yellow = green! As a base, I laid "Light Of Day" from Pipe Dream Polish, then I nail arted with the blue "All In", and the magenta "V.I.P. Pass".

Ça ne rend pas aussi bien que ce que j'aurai souhaité, mais j'aime quand même le résultat ! Ci-dessous tu peux voir différentes étapes de notre session watermarble et nos deux nail arts côte à côte ! J'espère que ça te plaît. Bisous ♥

Mais comme tu le sais peut-être, il est assez difficile de prendre des verts en photo, et en vrai "297 - Acid Green" de Kiko est un poil plus jaune. Et, Greenery correspond à une large palettes de verts, si tu vas sur le site de Pantone tu pourras voir qu'elle ne se limite pas à une seule nuance de vert.

But as you may know, it is quite difficult to take greens in photo, and irl "297 - Acid Green" from Kiko is a bit yellower. And, Greenery corresponds to a wide palette of greens, if you go to Pantone's website you will see that it is not limited to a single shade of green.

J'ai commandé spécialement ce vernis pour l'occasion. Je n'avais aucun vernis de cette teinte et pourtant j'adore le vert. C'est un vernis que je n'aurai surement pas acheté autrement. Et bien du coup, je ne regrette pas que ce soit le Pantone 2017, car j'ai ADORÉ le porter.

I ordered this nail lacquer especially for the occasion. I had no nail varnish of this hue and yet I love green. It is a nail polish that I surely will not have bought otherwise. And well, I do not regret that it's the Pantone 2017, because I have LOVED wearing it.

Il est opaque en deux à trois fines couches. Il sèche hyper vite et est vraiment super agréable à appliquer. J'ai hâte d'être en printemps // été pour pouvoir le porter plus souvent. Je l'imagine bien en pédicure aussi. ici, je le porte sans top coat !

It is opaque in two to three thin layers. It dries hyper fast and is really super nice to apply. I'm looking forward to being in spring // summer so I can wear it more often. I imagine it as a pedicure too. Here, I wear it without any top coat.

Noël approchant à grands pas, je me suis dit qu'il serait temps de te montrer quelques vernis à porter pour l'occasion. Et aujourd'hui, j'ai choisi "Grinch In A Blender" de NailNation 3000.

As Christmas is fast approaching, I thought it would be the time to show you some nail polishes ideal to wear for the occasion. And today I chose "Grinch In A Blender" from NailNation 3000.

Ce vernis est issu de la Holo Grail Box de décembre 2014. Tu peux en revoir la revue complète en cliquant par ici, le thème était : "The Grinch Who Stole Christmas..." / "Le Grinch qui à volé Noël...".

This nail lacquer comes from the Holo Grail Box of December 2014. You can see the full review by clicking over here, the theme was: "The Grinch Who Stole Christmas...".

C'est un joli vernis de couleur verte vive au shimmer doré, et avec de légères particules cuivrées. Il est opaque en trois couches. J'aime beaucoup les vernis de la marque NailNation 3000, même si le packaging fait un peu vieillot.

It is a beautiful nail varnish of bright green color with a golden shift and soft coppery sparkles. It is opaque in three layers. I like the nail polishes of the brand NailNation 3000, even though the packaging is a bit old-fashioned.

C'est à priori une couleur qui ne fait pas trop trop Noël. On s'attend en général plus à un vert sapin qu'à un vert prairie, mais il est en fait de l'exacte même teinte que le Grinch !

A priori This is a shade which does not represent too much Christmas. We usually expect more of a Christmas tree green than a meadow green, but it is actually the same exact tint as the Grinch himself!

J'ai aussi fait un article que tu peux relire ici comparant cette teinte à deux autres verts : "March 2014" d'Enchanted Polish et "Mowed Meadow" de FUN Lacquer. "Grinch In A Blender" est mon favori des trois.

J'avoue que j'adore les vernis de couleur verte mais les verts trop jaunes ne me vont pas forcément au teint, je préfère les plus bleutés. Et toi qu'as tu décidé de porter pour Noël ?

I have to say that I adore green nail varnishes but the greens which are too yellow are not really matching my complexion, I prefer the bluish ones. What about you? Did you decide what to wear for Christmas?

This is an holographic green nail lacquer from the Summer 2014 limited edition collection from the Singapore indie brand. It is very very very holo and as intensely green!

Si tu n'aimes pas le vert, il ne sera vraiment pas fait pour toi, mais si comme moi tu aimes le vert alors n'hésites pas, c'est une tuerie !!!

If you don't like green, it really won't be a nail varnish for you, but if like me you love green, do not hesitate, this is a killer !!!

J'avais déjà présenté ce vernis par ici, mais comme j'ai de plus beaux ongles maintenant et que je me suis améliorée en photo, j'ai décidé de le re-swatcher.

Il est parfaitement opaque en deux couches et l'application est très agréable. Attention toutefois, car il est très pigmenté, une couche de base coat est donc indispensable.

It is perfectly opaque in two layers and the application is very nice. But be careful, as it is very pigmented a base coat layer is essential.

Ce vernis n'est actuellement plus disponible à la vente, mais je pense que tu pourras le trouver plutôt facilement dans un vide vernithèque.
