⚔ Nailstorming Série TV : Game Of Thrones

Aujourd'hui on se retrouve pour notre rendez-vous hebdomadaire : le nailstorming. Cette semaine le thème est série télé, et j'ai choisi "Game Of Thrones".

Hi girls,
Today we meet for our weekly appointment : the nailstorming. This week the theme is TV shows, and I chose "Game Of Thrones". 

Bon il faut savoir que je n'ai pas la télé, mais que je suis une ACCRO aux séries télévisées, j'en regarde plus d'une centaine je crois bien.

Well you should know that I do not have TV, but I am ADDICTED to television shows, I look more than a hundred I believe.

J'ai d'ailleurs déjà réalisé des nail arts pour les séries suivantes "Star Crossed", "The Librarians" et "Outlander", que tu peux revoir en cliquant sur les liens correspondant.

I have already made nail arts for the following series "Star Crossed", "The Librarians" and "Outlander", which you can look at by clicking on the corresponding links.

Bien-sûr avec le retour imminent de "Game Of Thrones", c'est cette fois sur la série culte que j'ai eu envie de me tourner.

Obviously with the imminent return of "Game Of Thrones", it is this time on the cult series that I wanted to lean to.

En base, j'ai posé le vernis "Grey Wind" de Moonstone Polish. Il s'agit d'un vernis issu de la "What's In-die Box" spéciale Game Of Thrones dont tu peux revoir la revue par ici. Il s'inspire du direwolf de Robb Stark.

As the base color, I used the nail polish "Grey Wind" from Moonstone Polish. This is a nail lacquer from the "What's In-die Box"Special Game Of Thrones which you can see the review over here. It is based on Robb Stark's direwolf.

Puis, j'ai utilisé des water decals venant de la boutique en ligne "Tentacle Studio" sur etsy (la boutique est actuellement en vacances). Je les ai payés 6$ hors frais de port et je m'attendais à mieux.

Then, I used water decals from the online store "Tentacle Studio" on etsy (the shop is currently on vacation). I paid $6 excluding shipping and I expected better.

Les détails sont hypers fins et ils arrivent en deux tailles différentes, mais ce ne sont pas des water decals classiques, le plastique vient avec le motif et certains détails se sont estompés lorsque j'ai appliqué le top coat. Je suis donc bien contente d'avoir commandé des vinyles dédiés également à "Game Of Thrones" pour deux fois mois chers (3$) sur le site d'Eat Sleep Polish.

Details are really sharped and they come in two different sizes, but they are not conventional water decals, the plastic comes with the pattern and some details have faded when I applied top coat. I am glad I ordered some nail vinyls also dedicated to "Game Of Thrones" for half the price on Eat Sleep Polish's website.

✎ Tomcat Tales de Lilypad Lacquer

"Tomcat Tales" tire son inspiration de Tom dans le dessin animé Tom & Jerry. Il doit sa couleur grise au pelage gris du célèbre chat.

"Tomcat Tales" takes its inspiration from Tom in the cartoon Tom & Jerry. It owes its gray color to the gray fur of the famous cat.

C'est un très beau gris // argenté holographique ayant un très léger shimmer rosé. Il est parfaitement opaque en deux couches et est très agréable à appliquer.

This is a beautiful holographic gray // silver with a very slight pink shimmer. It is perfectly opaque in two layers and is very pleasant to apply.

Il est non seulement holographique, mais on a l'impression d'avoir des ongles en 3D ! Ce fût mon premier vernis de la marque Lilypad Lacquer.

It is not only holographic, but it feels like having 3D nails ! This was my first nail lacquer from the brand Lilypad Lacquer. 

Je le trouve classique mais en même temps original car il est finalement assez rare de voir des vernis de cette teinte. Il est assez recherché par les collectionneuses.

I find it classic but original at the same time as it is actually quite rare to see that shade of nail varnish. It is quite sought after by collectors.

Je continue ma sélection de vernis idéaux à porter en automne, et aujourd'hui, j'ai choisi de te montrer le vernis "Sunny London" de la collection "I ♥ Trends" d'essence cosmetics.

Franchement, il ne paye pas de mine dans son flacon comme ça, mais il est absolument magnifique une fois posé !!! Et c'est grâce aux conseils de la jolie Alice du blog "cosmeto and co" que j'ai jeté mon dévolu sur lui lors d'une soirée organisée par essence cosmetics.

Honestly, it doesn't look in the bottle like that, but it is absolutely stunning once laid !!! And it is thanks to the advice of the lovely Alice of the blog "cosmeto and co" that I set my heart upon it at an event organized by essence cosmetics.

Et bien quel coup de cœur !! Je ne regrette absolument pas de l'avoir écouté. En tant qu'amoureuse de Londres déjà, je ne peux qu'aimer ce vernis.

Well this is a huge crush !! I do not regret listening her. As a big lover of London already, I can only love this nail polish. 

De plus, je trouve son nom absolument génial et correspondant tout à fait au vernis. Même si, pour ma part j'ai toujours eu de la chance lors de mes séjours à Londres, j'ai toujours pu profiter d'un meilleur climat qu'à Paris.

Moreover, I find its name absolutely brilliant and perfrectly matches the nail polish. Although, I have always been lucky during my stays in London, I've always enjoyed a better weather than in Paris.

Bref, revenons-en au vernis en lui-même. "Sunny London" fait partie de la collection "I ♥ Trends". Celle-ci est composée de trois catégories pour l'instant : "the nudes", "the pastels", et "the darks".

Anyway, let us return to the nail varnish itself. "Sunny London" belongs to the collection "I ♥ Trends". It has three categories for now : "the nudes", "the pastels" and "the darks".

"Sunny London" est un sublime gris pastel presque blanc. Il a un fini mat, on dirait qu'il est velouté. Il est opaque en deux couches et contrairement à tous les vernis mats que j'ai pu poser jusqu'alors, il est super agréable à appliquer.

"Sunny London" is a sublime pastel grey, almost white. It has a matte finish, it looks like it is velvety. It is opaque in two coats and unlike all the matt nail varnishes I could ask previously it is super pleasant to apply.

Tu peux appliquer un top coat par dessus, si tu veux obtenir un effet brillant. En revanche, si tu veux conserver cet aspect velouté, il ne faudra bien sur pas de top coat et prévoir un peu plus de temps pour qu'il soit bien sec.

You can apply a top coat over it, if you want a shiny effect. However, if you want to keep this velvety look, it won't need top coat of course, and will take a little bit more time for it to be fully dry.

J'ai déjà utilisé "Sunny London" pour un nail art dédié au Royaume-Uni que tu peux revoir par ici. J'aime beaucoup aussi son packaging que je trouve un peu plus classe que la gamme gel d'essence.

I already used "Sunny London" for a nail art dedicated to the United Kingdom that you can review over here. I also really like its packaging that I find a bit classier than the range gel from essence cosmetics.

J'affectionne tout particulièrement ce vernis, car c'est le premier monthly que j'ai acheté directement sur le Big Cartel (site de la marque).

En 2013, les monthlies d'Enchanted Polish n'étaient pas encore des vernis mystères, on en avait un aperçu via un swatch de Chelsea (la créatrice), et ils étaient vendus en nombre limité, pas de pre-order à l'époque.

À l'époque, les seuls que j'avais vraiment aimé en photo étaient "July 2013" et "August 2013", mais je les avais ratés car j'étais en vacances.

☠ Halloween // Nailstorming

Aujourd’hui c'est nailstorming spécial Halloween ! J'ai vraiment longuement hésité sur ce que j'allais faire ! J'avais à la base prévu un truc vraiment hyper simple.

Hello girls,
Today is the nailstorming dedicated to Halloween ! I really hesitated about what I was going to do ! At first, I had planned to do a really super simple thing.

Mais comme j'adore le nail art que j'ai en ce moment, je n'avais vraiment pas envie de l'enlever, j'allais donc vous présenter un nail art que j'avais préparé pour l'occasion il y à quelques jours.

But as I love the nail art that I have right now, I really did not want to remove it, so I was going to show you a nail art that I had prepared for the occasion a few days ago.

Mais je sais que je suis attendue au tournant tous les ans pour mes "nail arts" dédiés à Halloween, car je fais toujours des trucs un peu, voir complétement fous !

But I know my Halloween nail arts are expected every year, because I always do things a bit, or completely crazy !

En effet, l'année dernière, j'ai fait une main zombie, il y à deux ans une main squelette, mais aussi, une main sanglante et cloutée.

Indeed, last year, I did a zombie hand, two years ago, a skeleton hand, but also a bloody and nailed hand.

J'aime donc me lâcher un peu pour Halloween, et faire un peu plus qu'un simple nail art. Cette année après brève réflexion, j'ai décidé de vous faire une main de vieille sorcière.

I enjoy doing crazy stuffs for Halloween, and doing a little more than just nail art. This year after brief reflection, I decided to make an old witch's hand.

Je me suis donc tout d'abord armée de vernis-colle pour me faire une peau fripée et grossir les jointures de mes doigts en mode verrue. Cela prend un certain temps.

So I first used some glue to make me a wrinkled skin and swell the joints of my fingers in a wart way. It takes some time.

Ensuite, une fois que j'ai été satisfaite du résultat et que c'était assez sec à mon goût, je suis passée à la peinture. J'ai commencé par peindre toute ma main à l'éponge avec de l'acrylique blanche.

Then, once I was satisfied with the result and it was dry enough for my liking, I switched to painting. I started painting my hand with white acrylic to the sponge.

Puis, j'ai utilisé de l'acrylique grise pour faire ressortir quelques endroits, j'ai estompé un peu. Enfin, pour terminer, j'ai utilisé de l'acrylique noire pour repasser sur le gris, et donner un peu de texture à ma main.

Then I used gray acrylic to highlight a few spot, I faded a little. Finally, I used some black acrylic over the gray, and to give a bit of texture to my hand.

Sur les ongles, j'ai aussi utilisé l'éponge avec de l'acrylique noire. Et voilà ! Vous avez en prime ma minette en guest star, chat noir de sorcière oblige !! Maintenant, il faut que je réfléchisse à ce que je vais bien pouvoir faire l'année prochaine !! Si tu as des suggestions, n'hésite pas !

On the nails, I also used the sponge with black acrylic. There you go ! You have an added bonus with my kitty as a guest star, every good witch requires a black cat !! Now I have to think about what I am going to do next year !! If you have any suggestions, don't hesitate !

✈ Voyage, Voyage // Nailstorming

Comme tous les dimanches (ou presque), on se retrouve aujourd'hui pour le nailstorming. Cette semaine, le thème est : "Voyage, Voyage !!".

Like every Sunday (or almost), we meet today for the nailstorming. This week's theme is : "Travel, Travel !!".

Initialement, j'avais envie de faire un nail art en rapport avec le pays où je suis partie en vacances cet été : la Grèce. D'ailleurs, je te rappelle qu'il reste une semaine pour participer au concours avec des produits que je t'ai ramenés de là-bas en cliquant ici.

Initially, I wanted to do a nail art related to the country where I was on vacation this summer : Greece. Besides, I remind you that there is one week left to enter the contest with products that I have brought from there by clicking here.

Puis finalement, j'ai un ami qui a organisé une fête sur le thème de l'Angleterre vendredi dernier, alors je me suis dit que ce serait parfait de faire un nail art spécialement pour l'occasion !!

Then finally, I have a friend who had a party on the theme of England last Friday, so I thought it would be perfect to make a nail art especially for that occasion !!

Et puis, comme j'adore l'Angleterre, et que Londres est sans doute l'une de mes villes préférées, je suis très contente d'en avoir fait un nail art !!

And then, as I love England, and that London is probably one of my favorite cities, I am very happy to have done a nail art dedicated to it !!
 

En base, j'ai posé LE vernis idéal pour ce nail art : "Sunny London", un très joli gris mat de la collection : I ♥ Trends d'essence cosmetics. Je crois bien que c'est mon vernis gris préféré, il faut absolument que je te le montre posé seul.

As a base, I used THE ideal nail polish for this nail art : "Sunny London", a beautiful matt gray from the collection : I ♥ Trends by essence cosmetics. I believe that this is my favorite gray nail lacquer, I absolutely have to show it to you on its own.

Sur mon index, mon majeur, et mon annulaire, j'ai posé des nails stickers que tu peux retrouver sur le site Banggood.com en cliquant ici. Je ne suis d'habitude pas une fan des nails stickers car ils ont tendance à se recourber sur eux-même, même après le passage du top coat, mais ceux-ci sont vraiment top, et à 1.45$ avec la livraison gratuite, il ne faut pas se priver !

On my pointer, my middle and my ring fingers, I used some nails stickers that you can find on the Banggood.com site by clicking right here. I'm usually not a big fan of nails stickers since they tend to curl on themselves, even after the top coat, but those are really great, and for $1.45 with free shipping, I won't hesitate !

Pour le pouce et l'auriculaire, j'ai stampé à l'aide de motifs de la plaque "Tourist Collection - 01" de Mo You London, et un vernis noir spécial stamping. Ensuite, j'ai utilisé deux top coats pailletés différents.

For the thumb and the little finger, I stamped using patterns from the plate "Tourist Collection - 01" from Mo You London, and a black stamping nail polish. Then I used two different glitter top coats.

D'abord "School Day" de Claire's, un top coat composé de bar glitters, de micro-paillettes, et de paillettes hexagonales noires et blanches. Comme je trouvais ça, un peu trop gris, j'ai rajouté un peu de couleurs à l'aide de "Snoopy The Witch" de Glam Polish, un top coat un peu foufou contenant des paillettes de diverses formes et tailles, bleues, blanches, et rouges.

First "School Day" from Claire's, a top coat made of black and white bar glitters, micro-glitters, and hexagonal flakes. As I found it a bit too gray, I added some color with "Snoopy The Witch" fro Glam Polish, a crazy top coat containing blue, white and red flakes of various shapes and sizes.
