❧ Sweet Mint // Enchanted Polish

Je rattrape petit à petit mon retard dans les swatches des vernis Enchanted Polish (et j'en ai encore tellement à te montrer !). Et aujourd'hui c'est le joli "Sweet Mint" que j'ai choisi de te montrer.

Hi girls,
I'm slowly catching up with the swatches of my Enchanted Polishes (I still have so much to show you!). And today it's the pretty "Sweet Mint" that I chose to show you.

"Sweet Mint" est un joli vernis crème frais et printanier. Le temps étant de plus en plus doux, j'ai trouvé qu'il était tout particulièrement adéquat pour la saison, le printemps approchant à grands pas.

"Sweet Mint" is a nice fresh and spring crème nail varnish. As the weather is getting milder and milder, I found it to be especially suitable for the season, with spring fast approaching.

"Sweet Mint" est l'un des trois premiers vernis crème de la marque Enchanted Polish avec le rouge "Valentine" dont tu peux voir le swatch en cliquant ici, et le noir "Paint It Black".

"Sweet Mint" is one of the first three cream nail lacquers from the Enchanted Polish brand with the red "Valentine" which you can see the swatch by clicking here, and the black "Paint It Black".

C'était l'époque où j'achetais encore presque tous les Enchanted Polish, j'avais donc pris tous les vernis crèmes jusqu'au trio "Cotton Candy Taffy", "Taro Milk Tea", et "Melted Popsicle".

Back then, I was still buying allmost all of the Enchanted Polishes, so I bought all of the creme nail lacquers until the trio "Cotton Candy Taffy", "Taro Milk Tea", and "Melted Popsicle".

Franchement ils sont très jolis, il n'y à rien à dire. Mais même si Enchanted Polish est une marque de grande qualité, cela m'embête de dépenser 16€ sans compter frais de ports et éventuels frais de douanes pour un simple vernis crèmes.

Honestly they are really beautiful, I can't say otherwise. But, even if Enchanted Polish is a high quality brand, it bothers me a lot to pay $16 without shipping fees and possible custom fees for a simple crème nail varnish.

Surtout que l'on peut trouver des dupes ou des couleurs très très similaires assez facilement. Et surtout ce qui me gène chez les Enchanted Polish, c'est qu'ils sont opaques en trois couches et épais à l'application.

Especially that one can find dupes or very very similar colors quite easily. And especially what gets me in the Enchanted Polish is that they are opaque in three layers and thick.

Si tu tiens absolument à te le procurer, tu peux le trouver directement sur le site de la marque pour 16$ (il est restocké régulièrement). Ou dans un vide vernithèque pour 10/12€. Bisous les filles.

♪ La La Land // Enchanted Polish

Aujourd'hui sort en salles le film "La La Land" de Damien Chazelle avec Ryan Gosling et Emma Stone. Je ne sais pas si j'irai le voir, mais je me suis dit que c'était l'occasion parfaite pour porter le vernis "La La Land" d'Enchanted Polish.

Today the movie "La La Land" by Damien Chazelle is released (in France) with Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone. I do not know if I will go watch it, but I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to wear the nail polish "La La Land" from Enchanted Polish.

J'avais beaucoup aimé Ryan Gosling et Emma Stone dans "Crazy Stupid Love", mais je ne suis pas une fan des films musicaux américains, à méditer donc...

I really liked Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone in "Crazy Stupid Love", but I'm not a fan of American musicals, so I'll think about it...

En vrai le nom de "La La Land" n'a absolument rien à voir avec le film. Mais, si je ne dis pas de bêtises, le vernis doit son nom à la chanson "La La Land" de Demi Lovato.

In truth the name "La La Land" has absolutely nothing to do with the movie. But, if I am correct, the nail lacquer owes its name to the song "La La Land" by Demi Lovato.

J'ai quand même trouvé que ce serait sympa de le porter aujourd'hui surtout que je ne l'avais pas encore mis.

I still thought it would be nice to wear it today especially since I had not used it yet. 

Il s'agit d'un RTRP (Right Time Right Place), ce qui veut dire que sa vente n'a pas été annoncée au préalable, il fallait y être au bon moment.

This is a RTRP (Right Time Right Place), which means that its sale was not advertised earlier, you had to be there at the right time.

Il s'agit d'un beau bleu holographique avec une pointe de turquoise (teal) et un joli shimmer rose. Il est opaque en deux à trois couches.

This is a beautiful holographic blue with a tip of turquoise // teal and a pretty pink shimmer. It is opaque in two to three layers.

Personnellement, je le trouve vraiment très beau. L'année dernière j'ai revendu environ la moitié de mes Enchanted Polish. J'ai gardé celui-ci car je l'aime beaucoup !

Personally, I find it really beautiful. Last year I sold about half of my Enchanted Polish. I kept this one because I love it very much!

Comme tous les swatchs de teal, il est assez difficile d'être totalement fidèle à la couleur du vernis. Surtout que la couleur change d'un écran à un autre ! Mais j'ai fait de mon mieux !!

Like all teal swatchs, it is quite difficult to be totally faithful to the color of the nail varnish. Especially as the color changes from one screen to another! But I did my best !!

Et voilà les filles pour ce joli "La La Land". Qu'en penses-tu ? Et par curiosité, iras-tu voir le film ? Si oui, n'hésite pas à revenir me donner ton avis, cela me motivera peut-être à aller le voir moi aussi !

♣ "Aisling's Secret" d'Eat Sleep Polish

Après "Belle Of The Ball" et "Fawns Furry Friends", me voici de retour avec un nouveau vernis de la très jolie collection "Fairies & Princesses Part 2" (fées et princesses) de la marque indie canadienne Eat Sleep Polish : "Aisling's Secret".

After "Belle Of The Ball" and "Fawns Furry Friends", I'm back with a new nail polish from the lovely collection "Fairies & Princesses Part 2" from the Canadian indie brand Eat Sleep Polish : "Aisling's Secret. "

"Aisling's Secret" est un superbe bleu turquoise, il donne envie de partir dans les îles. Son seul défaut est qu'il est opaque en 3 à 4 fines couches, mais il sèche très vite et est très agréable à appliquer.

"Aisling's Secret" is a beautiful turquoise blue, it makes you want to go the islands. Its only flaw is that it is opaque in 3 to 4 thin layers, but it quickly dries and is very pleasant to apply.

Il a un joli shimmer bleu métallisé, il me fait un peu penser à "Christmas In Paradise" de Glitter Elements ou encore à "Mystic Orchid" de Aly's Dream Polish, mais c'est le plus beau des 3 et de loin !!

It has a nice metallic blue shimmer, it makes me think of "Christmas in Paradise" from Glitter Elements or to "Mystic Orchid" by Aly's Dream Polish, but it's the most beautiful of the 3 by far !!

"Aisling's Secret" doit son nom à la fée "Aisling" du dessin animé "Brendan et le Secret de Kells" qui est en partie une production française ! Je ne l'ai jamais vu mais l'histoire à l'air passionnante, je le regarderais très certainement !

"Aisling's Secret" is named after the fairy "Aisling" of the cartoon "The Secret of Kells" which is partly a French production! I've never seen it but the plot seems exciting, I certainly will have a look!

Cette collection est composée de 6 vernis tous dédiés à des princesses ou des fées, elle est idéale pour l'été et j'ai hâte d'arborer ces couleurs vives lorsqu'il fera enfin beau.

This collection has 6 nail polishes all dedicated to princesses or fairies, it's ideal for summer and I cannot wait to wear those bright colors when at last it will be sunny.

Il y à déjà une partie 1 à cette collection, je ne l'ai pas mais elle est composée de 5 vernis et est toujours disponible sur le site de la marque si tu veux.

Θ Pâques // Nailstorming

On se retrouve aujourd'hui pour le nailstorming pascal ! Et oui, c'est le dimanche de Pâques, on cherche les œufs, on fête les cloches, les poules et les lapins, et on en profite pour faire un nail art pour l'occasion !

Today we meet for the Easter nailstorming ! Yay, it's Easter Sunday, we look for the eggs, we celebrate the bells, hens and bunnies, and we took the opportunity to make a nail art especially for the occasion !

Cette année, j'avais envie d'avoir de véritables œufs de Pâques sur mes ongles. Pour cela, j'ai choisi d'utiliser un jolis vernis à l'effet œuf moucheté, le joli "Magpie" de Models Own.

This year, I wanted to have real Easter eggs on my nails. To do so, I chose to use a nice speckled egg effect nail polish, the pretty "Magpie" from Models Own.

J'aime beaucoup cette collection de la marque anglaise Models Own, mais j'avais été raisonnable et je n'avais pris que le turquoise lors de mon dernier séjour à Londres (revue du bottle shop par ici).

I love this collection from the English brand Models Own, but I had been reasonable and I had taken only the turquoise during my last journey in London (review of the bottle shop here).

Ce n'est pas une couleur que l'on voit communément à Pâques, mais cela reste une couleur assez fraîche et printanière, je trouve donc que cela fait plutôt pas mal le job ;)

This is not a color which is commonly seen during Easter, but this is a pretty cool and springly color, so I think it does a pretty good job ;)

En plus son joli mix de paillettes noires (micro paillettes et paillettes hexagonales) rappellent vraiment une coquille d’œuf.

Besides its attractive mix of black glitters (micro sequins and hexagonal flakes) really recall an eggshell.

Pour réaliser les décorations des œufs de Pâques, j'ai utilisé la plaque de stamping "14 - Festive Collection" de Mo You et le vernis "Porcelain ll" de Sèche.

To achieve the Easter egg decorations, I used the stamping plate "14 - Festive Collection" from Mo You and the nail lacquer "Porcelain ll" from Sèche.

C'est une collection pour laquelle j'ai eu un véritable coup de cœur, et à mon humble avis, c'est une collection indispensable à toute bonne vernithèque.

This is a collection for which I had a real crush, and in my humble opinion, it is a must have collection to every good stash.

La collection est composée de 6 vernis holographiques aux couleurs idylliques. Pour l'achat de toute la collection, il y avait en plus un top coat holographique offert (que je ne présenterais pas cette semaine).

The collection is composed of six holographic nail polishes with idyllic colors. With the purchase of the whole collection, an holographic top coat was gifted (I won't show it this week).

De plus, la jolie sucette "Unicorn", ainsi que le mignon petit badge étaient aussi en cadeau. Les vernis étaient soigneusement emballés avec un petit autocollant correspondant au nom du vernis collé sur chaque pochette.

In addition, the lovely lollipop "Unicorn "and the cute little badge were also presents. The lacquers were carefully packed with a small sticker matching the name of the nail varnish stuck on each pouch.

Par exemple, sur le sachet de "Unicorn Symphony" que je te présente aujourd'hui, il y avait une note de musique collée dessus. J'adore le soin et la minutie apportés à chaque commande, on se sent vraiment chouchoutées, et ça fait plaisir.

For example, on the bag of "Unicorn Symphony" which I am showing you today, there was a musical note stuck on it. I love the care and attention to details made for each order, it makes you feel really pampered, and it's nice.

Aujourd'hui, c'est le beau "Unicorn Symphony", un mint intensément holographique, il est opaque en deux couches. Tous les vernis de la collection sont très agréables à poser.

Today, it is the beautiful "Unicorn Symphony", an intensely holographic mint, and opaque in two layers. All of the nail varnishes from this collection are very nice to ask.

Comme pour tous les vernis de couleur mint, il a été assez difficile d'être à 100% fidèle avec sa teinte exacte, et tu pourras remarquer de légères variations selon les photos, dues à la lumière et l'angle de prise de vue.

As for all the mint colores nail lacquers, it was quite difficult to be 100% faithful to its exact shade, and you may notice slight variations between pictures, due to the light and camera angle.

८ Un Peu de Chaleur (et de Bleu) pour l'Anniversaire de Boulilulu

On se retrouve aujourd'hui pour un complot car c'est l'anniversaire de ma copine Amina du blog "Confessions d'une Nail Polish Addict".

Here we are today for a plot as it is the birthday of my friend Amina from the blog "Confessions of a Nail Polish Addict". 

Amina est une rare NPA que je connais dans la vraie vie, on se fait des trucs de temps en temps, et d'ailleurs on se voit la semaine prochaine :D

Amina is a rare NPA which I know in real life, we see each other sometimes, and besides we'll meet next week :D 

Je l'adore elle est super gentille, et elle a un vrai caractère un peu comme moi, par contre elle me bat niveau bavarde, mais c'est super cool parce que du coup on a toujours pleins de trucs à se raconter, et on ne s'ennuie jamais avec elle !!

I love her, she is super nice, and has a real character a bit like me, though she beats me on the talkative level, but it is super cool because we always have full of stuff to tell, and we never get bored with her !!
 

Du coup, c'est un réel plaisir de participer aujourd'hui pour son complot d'anniversaire, dont le thème est "Un Peu de Chaleur (et de Bleu) pour l'Anniversaire de Boulilulu".

So, it is a real pleasure to participate today for her birthday plot, whose theme is "A Little bit of Heat (and some Blue) for Boulilulu's Birthday".

Initialement, c'était uniquement la chaleur, mais comme je sais qu'elle adore le bleu (tout comme moi), j'ai suggéré que l'on en ajoute dans nos nail arts.

Initially, it was only heat but as I know she loves blue (like me), I suggested that we add some in our nail arts. 

Bleu + chaleur, c'est un peu difficile à associer vu que le bleu est une couleur froide... C'était pas gagné ! Mais j'ai repensé à mes beaux water decals eau qui viennent de chez Born Pretty Store.

Blue + heat, it's a bit difficult to associate since blue is a cold tone... It was kind of tricky ! But I thought to my beautiful water decals coming from Born Pretty Store.
