✍ Happy Maganniversaire : Double Stamping, Livres et Jardin d'Hiver

Aujourd'hui nous nous retrouvons pour un complot d'anniversaire, et ça fait très très longtemps que je n'en avais pas réalisé !

Hi girls,
Here we are today for a birthday plot, and it's been a very very long time since I had not entered in any plot!

C'est donc l'anniversaire de Magali que nous célébrons aujourd'hui, alias a.e.l.i.s. sur Instagram. Et c'est carrément trop cool car je viens juste de la rencontrer, je suis donc hyper contente de participer à son complot d'anniversaire aujourd'hui.

It is therefore Magali's birthday that we are celebrating today, a.k.a. a.e.l.i.s. on Instagram. And it's downright cool because I just met her, so I'm really excited to be a part of her birthday plot today.

Le thème de son complot est : soit une reproduction de l'un de ses nail arts, soit un nail art inspiré d'un livre, soit un beau ciel. Alors moi en ce moment, je ne sais pas ce qu'il m'arrive mais je n'ai pas les yeux en face des trous, car j'ai seulement vu le nail art inspiré d'un livre, et même pas les deux autres xD.

The theme of her plot is either a reproduction of one of her nail arts, either a nail art inspired by a book, or a beautiful sky. So I don't know what's happening to me right now, but I didn't read properly, because I only saw the nail art inspired by a book, and not even the two other ones xD.

Enfin bref, je suis donc allée fouiner sur son profil Instagram, et j'ai vu sur cette photo qu'elle était en train de lire "Jardin d'Hiver" d'Olivier Parquet. Je n'ai pas lu le bouquin mais cela m'a inspiré et je me suis dit que ça ferait un nail art sympa surtout que j'ai déjà fait des nail arts inspirés par des livres ici (j'aime beaucoup celui-là), mais aussi ici (un nail art mignon aussi) ou encore ici, et je voulais changer un peu.

Anyway, I went to snoop on her Instagram's profile, and I saw in this picture that she was actually reading "Jardin d'Hiver" (Winter Garden) by Olivier Parquet. I did not read the book but it inspired me and I thought it would make a nice nail art especially as I have already done nail arts inspired by books here (I love this one), right here (a cute one too), and over here, and I wanted to change a bit.

En base, j'ai posé deux couches de mon bleu nuit préféré "Star Of Bombay" d'Orly. Par-dessus, j'ai posé deux couches d'un de mes premiers vernis indie et également l'un de mes favoris : "Tibetan Nights" de Cirque Colors.

A a base, I put two layers of my favorite night blue nail polish "Star Of Bombay" from Orly. Over it, I laid two coats of one of my first indie nail varnishes and also one of my favorites: "Tibetan Nights" from Cirque Colors.

Ce qui est cool, c'est que la base de mon nail art elle-même peut faire office de ciel étoilé, on est donc doublement dans le thème. J'ai ensuite réalisé un double stamping.

What is cool is that the base of my nail art itself can be a starry sky too, so we are doubly in the theme. I then made a double stamping.

Pour les motifs "écritures", j'ai utilisé la plaque de stamping "Literature 01" de chez Mo You offerte par ma copine Adilys2 (Marie pour les intimes). Pour les motifs "fleurs", j'ai utilisé la plaque "Pueen 80" de Pueen donc, venant du set Buffet Leisure.

For the "writings" patterns, I used the stamping plate "Literature 01" from Mo You gifted to me by my friend Adilys2 (Marie for friends). For the "flower" patterns, I used Pueen's "Pueen 80" stamping plate, from the Buffet Leisure set.

Pour les vernis de stamping, j'ai utilisé "Porcelain II" de Sèche pour le blanc, et "Angel Kiss" de Color Club pour le holo. J'ai alterné les vernis pour stamper les motifs, tantôt les écritures en blanc, tantôt en holo et vice versa. For the stamping nail lacquers, I used "Porcelain II" from Sèche for the white, and "Angel Kiss" from Color Club for the holo. I alternated the two nail polishes to stamp the patterns, sometimes the writings in white, sometimes in holo and vice versa. ♥ Journée de Sensibilisation à l'Autisme

Aujourd'hui, on se retrouve pour un complot. Mais cette fois, pas d'anniversaire. En effet, on vient parler de l'autisme. Je ne suis pas une experte, mais j'avais envie de participer à mon échelle pour sensibiliser les gens à cette maladie.

Here we are today for a plot. But this time, no birthday. Indeed, we are talking about autism. I'm not an expert, but I wanted to take part in my scale to raise awareness to this disease.

De plus, j'ai récemment découvert qu'aux États-Unis, une association propose de guérir cette maladie avec un traitement consistant à faire avaler des gouttes de détergent aux enfants.... Cela m'a profondément choqué et je trouve cela absolument inconcevable.

Also, I recently discovered that in the United States, an association proposes to cure this disease with a treatment consisting in swallowing drops of detergent by children .... I was deeply shocked and I find it absolutely inconceivable.

Je trouve donc que ce complot est un bon moyen de dénoncer cette association. Je n'en mettrai pas le lien afin de ne pas en faire la promotion mais si vous voulez plus d'infos, tapez CD Autism sur Google, ou encore renseignez-vous via le blog No More Bleach, qui dénonce cette association et ses actions.

So I think this plot is a means to denounce this association. I will not put the link in order not to promote it but if you want more info, type CD Autism on Google, or you ckeck the blog No More Bleach, which denounces this association and its actions.

Je suis vraiment choquée par les actions de cette association, et je n'arrive pas à croire que des parents peuvent faire avaler du détergent comme traitement médical à leurs enfants. Je suis vraiment retournée, et je vais essayer de passer à une note plus légère en parlant nail art.

I am really shocked by the actions of this association, and I do not believe that parents can make swallow detergent as a medical treatment for their children. I'm really upset, and I'll try to move to a brighter side by talking nail art.

La journée mondiale de sensibilisation à l’autisme à lieu aujourd'hui, et vous pourrez en retrouver toute les infos par ici. Mais le cœur bleu est à l'honneur, en effet des cœurs bleus en laine ont été récoltés afin de les distribuer pour sensibiliser les gens.

The World Awareness Day Autism take place today and you can find all the details here. But the blue heart is in the spotlight, indeed blue woolen hearts were collected order to distribute them to raise awareness.

C'est pourquoi, pour ce complot, nous avions pour mission, nous aussi de réaliser un nail art avec un cœur bleu. Pour ma part, je n'ai pas pu me résoudre à un seul cœur mais à toute une flopée de cœurs bleus.

Which is why, for this plot, we had the mission to realize a nail art with a blue heart. As for me, I could not resolve myself to a single heart but to an entire bunch of blue hearts.

Tout d'abord, j'ai posé en base le magnifique vernis bleu holographique "Calypso" de Peita's Polish qui est opaque en deux couches. Il provient de la "What's In-die Box" du mois de février sur le thème Cocktails dont tu peux voir la revue ici.

First of all I used as a base the beautiful blue holographic nail polish "Calypso" from Peita's Polish which is opaque in two coats. It comes from the "What's In-die Box" of February themed Cocktails of which you may see the review here.

J'ai ensuite utilisé un pochoir en forme de cœurs venant de la boutique "My Kingdom For Glitters". Initialement prévus pour la Saint-Valentin, je les ai trouvés idéaux pour l'occasion.

Then, I used a stencil hearts shaped from the shop "My Kingdom For Glitters". Originally foreseen for Valentine's Day, I found them ideal for the occasion.

Pour remplir mon pochoir, j'ai utilisé un autre vernis holographique, le bleu ciel métallisé "Angel Kiss" de Color Club. J'ai ensuite immédiatement retiré le pochoir et top coaté le tout.

To fill my stencil I used another holographic nail polish, the metallic blue sky "Angel Kiss" from Color Club. Then, I immediately removed the stencil and top coated everything.

Voilà les filles pour ce complot plutôt sérieux, et ce nail art. J'espère avoir pu sensibiliser quelques personnes, et j'espère avoir pu faire connaître les actions déplorables que j'ai nommé précédemment. Sur cette note grave, je vous souhaite un #Happyblueday !
