༐ Trois Verts Holographiques au Banc d'Essai

Après avoir posé "March 2014" d'Enchanted Polish la semaine dernière, cela m'a donné envie de le comparer avec quelques-uns de ses copains verts de ma vernithèque.

After laying "March 2014" from Enchanted Polish last week, it made me want to compare it with some of its greens buddies from my stash.

J'adore les vernis verts. Cependant, ce n'est pas une couleur facile à porter. C'est pourquoi, j'ai jugé bon de réaliser ce petit comparatif afin de te permettre d'arrêter ton choix sur l'un ou plusieurs de ces précieux.

I love greens nail varnishes. However, this is not an easy color to wear. That's why, I thought I would make this small comparative to allow you to see the difference, and take one or more of these precious.

J'avais initialement prévu de les comparer également avec "Ghost Gutz" de Peita's Polish, et "Slimey Limey" de Lilypad Lacquer. Mais en placant les flacons côte à côte, je me suis rendue compte qu'ils n'étaient vraiment pas si proches.

I had originally planned to compare them with "Ghost Gutz" from Peita's Polish and "Slimey Limey" from Lilypad Lacquer too. But by placing the bottles side by side, I realized they were not so close.

Alors pour commencer, je vais déjà te dire qui est qui ? Sur le pouce, le majeur, et l'auriculaire, je porte "March 2014" d'Enchanted Polish. Sur l'index, je porte "Mowed Meadow" de F.U.N. Lacquer, et sur l'annulaire, je porte "Grinch In A Blender" de NailNation 3000.

First of all, I am going to start by telling you which is which ? On thumb, middle and little finger, I wear "March 2014" from Enchanted Polish. On the index, I wear "Mowed Meadow" from F.U.N. Lacquer and on the ring finger, I wear "Grinch In A Blender" from NailNation 3000.

Comme tu peux le constater, ils sont tous trois différents. Je t'ai détaillé chacun d'entre eux ci-dessous. Personnellement, je préfère le NailNation 3000, mais ils ont tous leurs atouts ! Ce sont tous des vernis en édition limitée, ils ne sont plus vendus, tu ne pourras les trouver uniquement d'occasion, leur prix est donc variable.

As you can see, all three are differents. I've detailed all of them below. Personally, I prefer the NailNation 3000, but they all have their own assets ! These are all limited edition nail polishes, they are no longer sold, you will be able to find second hand only, their price is therefore variable.

Niveau application, c'est "Grinch In A Blender" le plus agréable à poser, puis "March 2014", et enfin "Mowed Meadow". Cela dit, "Mowed Meadow" étant le plus épais, c'est donc le plus opaque, il te faudra trois bonnes couches pour les autres, mais deux couches suffisent pour le F.U.N. Lacquer. Tout dépend ce que tu préfères. C'est "March 2014" qui est le plus holographique, puis "Mowed Meadow" et enfin "Grinch In A Blender".

The application is the most pleasant with "Grinch In A Blender", then "March 2014", and finally "Mowed Meadow". That being said, "Mowed Meadow" is the thicker, so this is the most opaque, it will take you three good layers for the others, but two coats are enough for the F.U.N. Lacquer. Everything depends on what you prefer. It's "March 2014" which is the most holographic, then "Mowed Meadow" and finally "Grinch In A Blender".

Tu peux constater que "March 2014" est vraiment différent des deux autres, car il est beaucoup plus jaune. "Mowed Meadow" et "Grinch In A Blender" sont plus proches, mais ne sont pas pour autant des dupes. "Mowed Meadow" porte bien son nom de vert prairie et tire beaucoup plus vert le jaune. Tandis que "Grinch In A Blender" est beaucoup plus bleuté et neutre. J'espère que ce petit comparatif pourra t'aider ? Et que cela t'as plu ? N'hésite pas à m'en informer, si tu souhaites en voir plus souvent !

As you can see "March 2014" is really different from the other two, since it is much more yellow. "Mowed Meadow" and "Grinch In A Blender" are close but that does not make them dupes. "Mowed Meadow" deserves its name, it is a fresh green yellow. While "Grinch In A Blender" is much more blue and neutral. I hope this comparison will help you? And that you like it ? Cette marque est en effet très prisée des nailistas, il existe même un véritable marché parallèle de ces vernis ! Cette marque étant vendue en édition très limitée, ces vernis s'arrachent en quelques secondes, et certaines filles achètent ces vernis dans le seul but de les revendre avec un bénéfice.

This brand is indeed very prized by nailistas, there even is a real black market of these polishes ! This brand is sold in a very limited edition, these polishes tend to sell within seconds, and some girls buy these polish only to resell with benefit.

Je te conseille donc de te procurer ces monthlies. En effet, même si ce sont des vernis mystères dont on ne connaît pas la couleur d'avance, si jamais tu étais déçue par sa couleur tu n'auras pas de mal à le revendre ou à l'échanger contre une couleur qui te plaît plus ;-)

So, I highly suggest you to get those monthlies. Even if they are mystery polishes which we do'nt know the color in advance. If you were disappointed with the color you won't have trouble selling it or exchange it against a color that pleases you more ;-)

Pour en revenir à "March 2014", j'en ai posé trois couches puis une couche de top coat. C'est un vert // or intensément holographique et lumineux. Je trouve qu'il correspond bien au mois de mars, à l'arrivée du Printemps, à la couleur de l'herbe fraîche, au vert de la St-Patrick, à l'or des Leprechaun.

Getting back to "March 2014," I have put three layers then a layer of top coat. This is a  bright green // gold intensely holographic. I think it is a good fit for March, with the arrival of spring, the color of fresh grass, the green for St. Patrick's Day and gold of Leprechauns.

Je dois quand même te dire que je ne suis pas hyper fan de celui-ci. C'est probablement le vernis Enchanted Polish que j'aime le moins.  Pourtant, j'adore le vert, mais je trouve celui-ci tirant trop vers le jaune.

Still, I have to tell you that I am not a huge fan of that one. This is probably the nail varnish from Enchanted Polish that I like the least. I do love green though, but I think this one is too yellow-ish.

Je l'aurai préféré un peu plus tirant vers le bleu comme "Ghost Gutz" de Peita's Polish, ou "Slimey Limey de Lilypad Lacquer, ou même comme "Gummy Worm" ou "Green Goblin" d'Enchanted Polish, qui sait ? Peut-être que "March 2015" nous réserve une surprise ?

I would have preferred it a little bit more blue, like "Ghost Gutz" from Peita's Polish or "Slimey Limey" from Lilypad Lacquer, or even like" Gummy Worm" or "Green Goblin" from Enchanted Polish, who knows, maybe that "March 2015" will surprise us ?

Ils sont au prix de 16.50$ l'unité avec des frais de port de 9$ pour le premier vernis, puis 11$ pour deux, ce qui revient à 44$ // 40€ et donc à environ 20€ l'unité. Malheureusement l'Euro à baissé, c'est donc moins avantageux en ce moment.

They are priced at $16.50 per item with a shipping cost of $9 for the first nail polish, $2 per additional item, so $11 for two, and $13 for three, which amounts $44 // 40€ so about 20€ per item. Unfortunately the Euro declined, so it is less advantageous at the moment.

J'aime beaucoup les vernis de l'année 2014, sauf peut-être un ou deux que j'aime moins. Celui-ci, en fait malheureusement partie. Mais ne t'inquiètes pas, je reviens bientôt avec "April 2014" qui est une vraie beauté !

I love the nail polishes from 2014, except perhaps one or two that I like less. Unfortunately, this one is a part of those ones. But don't worry, I'll be back soon with "April 2014", which is a real beauty !
