Today, I present you my participation to the contest organized by the indie brand of nail polishes F.U.N. Lacquer.
Yuin Ying, la créatrice de la marque à lancé un concours au début du mois nous permettant de gagner des vernis de sa marque. Pour cela, il fallait créer un nail art en utilisant uniquement des vernis F.U.N. Lacquer.
Yuin Ying, the creator of the brand launched a contest earlier this month enabling us to win some nail polish from her brand. For this we had to create a nail art using only some nail polishes from F.U.N. Lacquer.
J'ai donc consulté les vernis F.U.N. Lacquer en ma possession, et j'ai constaté que la plupart d'entre eux étaient dans les teintes bleues.
So I looked up nail polishes from F.U.N. Lacquer in my possession, and I found that most of them were in the blue hues.
Et je me suis dit que la meilleure façon de marier tous ces vernis serait de faire un watermarble. Après mon essai au début du mois avec un watermarble Marsala, je dois dire que j'avais envie de m'améliorer en réalisant cette technique.
And I thought that the best way to combine all these nail polishes together would be by making a watermarble. After my test earlier this month with a Marsala watermarble, I must say that I wanted to improve myself by realizing this technique.
J'ai tout d'abord posé en base, trois couches du vernis "Icy Snow", un bleu ciel givré, légèrement thermo-changeant, qui fait partie de la collection de Noël 2013.
First, as a base color, I put three layers of "Icy Snow", a frosted blue nail polish slightly thermo-changing, a part of the Christmas collection 2013.
Pour le watermarble, j'ai ensuite utilisé successivement les vernis : "Icy Snow", "Ariel", Jasmine", "Diamond Holo Top Coat" et enfin "Starry Night Of The Summer" dont tu peux revoir le swatch ici.
Then, for the watermarble, I used successively the nail polishes : "Icy Snow", "Ariel, "Jasmine" , "Diamond Holo Top Coat" and finally "Starry Night Of The Summer" whom you can review the swatch here.
J'ai tenté par la suite de faire des formes dans l'eau, puis j'y ai plongé mes doigts. Comme c'est une technique qui prend relativement du temps, je plonge plusieurs doigts en même temps.
Cela dit, je me rends compte que du coup, cela donne un résultat aléatoire, car je ne choisis pas vraiment le motif qui va "s'imprimer" sur mon ongle.
However, I realize that the outcome gives a random result, because I do not really choose the pattern that will be "printed" on my nail.
La prochaine fois, j'essaierai de faire mes ongles un par un, mais alors il ne faut rien prévoir de la journée, car si tu veux faire les 10 doigts, plus l'étape du nettoyage, je te raconte pas le temps que ça prend !!!
Next time, I'll try to do my nails one at a time, but then I will have to have nothing to do during the day because if I want to do both hands, plus the step of cleaning, I will not tell how long it takes !!!
