❦ Automne // Nailstorming

C'est dimanche aujourd'hui, et c'est donc le jour du nailstorming. Cette semaine, le thème est en accord avec la saison, étant donné qu'il est consacré à l'Automne.

Hello girls,
It's Sunday today, so this is nailstorming's day. This week the theme is in line with the season, since it is dedicated to Autumn.
 

J'aime beaucoup l'Automne. J'adore les tenues d'automne, ressortir mes bottines, mes pulls, mes foulards, on s'habille un peu plus chaudement qu'en été, mais on n'est pas encore obligés de sortir la doudoune et le cache-oreilles non plus.

I love Autumn. I love autumn outfits : my boots, my knitwears, my scarves, we dress a bit warmer than in summer, but we are not yet obliged to wear doudoune and earmuffs.

J'avoue que je suis accro aux boissons chaudes et aux odeurs chaudes et épicées. C'est donc un plaisir pour moi de retrouver : tchaï, chocolat chaud, pumpkin latte, orange, cannelle...

I must admit that I'm addicted to hot drinks and to warm and spicy smells. So it is a real pleasure for me to retrieve : Tchaï, hot chocolate, pumpkin latte, orange, cinnamon ...

Cette fois, j'ai décidé de m'inspirer des couleurs chatoyantes de la nature en cette saison. J'adore voir les feuilles rougir et tomber petit à petit.

This time, I've decided to inspire me with the gleaming colors of nature in this season. I love seeing the leaves blush and fall little by little.
 

En base, j'ai choisi le très beau vernis orangé // cuivré "Another Brick In The Wall" d'Eat.Sleep.Polish. que je trouve idéal pour la saison. Je l'ai déjà posé seul, et tu peux le voir ou le revoir par ici. 

As a base, I chose the beautiful coppery // orange nail lacquer "Another Brick In The Wall" from Eat.Sleep.Polish. which I find ideal for the season. I have already posed on its own, and you can see or review it right here.

J'ai ensuite décidé de réaliser un stamping "feuilles d'automne". Pour cela, j'ai très logiquement utilisé la plaque de stamping "Tropical - 06" de Mo You London, et le vernis doré métallisé "Good As Gold" d'Essie.

Then I decided to do an "autumn leaves" stamping. For this, I logically used the stamping plate "Tropical - 06" from Mo You London, and the metallic gold nail lacquer "Good As Gold" from Essie.

Comme je trouvais que ça manquait un peu de couleur, j'ai décidé de faire un accent nail avec quelques feuilles colorées en utilisant la technique du reverse stamping.

As I thought it lacked a bit of color, I decided to do an accent nail with a few colored leaves by using the technique of reverse stamping.
 

Très franchement je voulais faire la main entière, mais c'est une technique qui prend pas mal de temps à réaliser, et qui je dois bien l'avouer me prend un peu la tête. En plus je ne la maîtrise pas encore hyper bien, alors je me suis contentée d'un doigt par main ;-)

Honestly I wanted to do the whole hand, but it is a technique that takes quite some time to achieve, and I must admit it drives me nuts. Plus I am not terrific at, so I just did one finger per hand ;-)

J'ai tout de même utilisé deux couleurs de feuilles différentes avec deux vernis que j'aime beaucoup et dont tu peux aussi voir les swatchs posés seul, pour le vert : "Jolly Holly" de China Glaze, et pour le marron : "Lady Godiva" d'Essie.

I still used two different colors for the leaves with two nail varnishes that I really like and which you can also see the swatchs on their own, for the green "Jolly Holly" from China Glaze, and the brown : "Lady Godiva" from Essie.

Alors tout d'abord parlons un peu de la marque, Eat.Sleep.Polish. est donc une marque indie canadienne. Sa créatrice s'appelle Cat (Caterina) et fabrique à la main des vernis à ongles 3-Free, non testé sur les animaux et vegan.

J'adore le nom de la marque Eat.Sleep.Polish. qui est un peu le mantra de chaque NPA, et oui pour nous ce n'est pas trop métro // boulot // dodo mais plutôt manger // dormir // vernir ! Et ce logo trop chou, moi j'adore !

Eat.Sleep.Polish propose une collection permanente, ainsi que des éditions limitées mais aussi des vernis mystères. Environ une fois par trimestre, Caterina met en vente ces fameux vernis mystères.

Eat.Sleep.Polish provides a permanent collection, as well as limited editions but also mysteries nail polishes. About once a trimester, Caterina is selling those famous mysteries nail polishes.

La boutique propose aussi de très jolis nails vinyles, avec même possibilité d'avoir son propre modèle, du latex liquide pour faciliter le nail art, des limes à ongles en verre à l'image de la marque, et le tampon creative shop.

Les vernis mystères sont en fait des prototypes, ou des vernis qui ne seront finalement pas mis en ventes, ou des éditions limitées, etc... Ce trimestre, il était possible d'acheter 3 vernis mystères.

Actually mysteries nail polishes are prototypes, or nail polishes that will ultimately not being sold, or limited editions, etc ... This trimester, it was possible to buy 3 mysteries nail polishes.

C'est la première fois que j'en achetais, et évidemment j'en ai pris trois ! Chaque acheteuse à des vernis différents, et on ne sait absolument pas sur quoi on va tomber. J'ai eu "Another Brick In The Wall" que voici, "Intergalactic" et "Bippity Boppity Blue" qui à malheureusement eu un accident durant le trajet, j'attends donc son remplaçant !

This was the first time I was buying, so obviously I took three ! Each buyer gets differents nail polishes, and we have no clue of what we're gonna get. I had "Another Brick In The Wall" here, "Intergalactic" and "Bippity Boppity Blue" which unfortunately had an accident during the journey, so I expect its replacement !

"Another Brick In The Wall" est un vernis intensément holographique de couleur cuivre, c'est vraiment la couleur qui le définit le mieux. Il est opaque en 3 couches. Je l'ai trouvé un poil épais à l'application mais Cat explique qu'elle ne met ni acetone, ni diluant dans ses vernis afin de laisser chacune choisir la consistance qui lui convient le mieux.

"Another Brick In The Wall" is an intensely holographic copper nail polish, this is really the color that defines it best. It is opaque in 3 layers. I found it a bit thick at application but Cat explains she puts no acetone or thinner in her polishes to let each one choose the consistency that suits them best.
